We wrapped up our event season here in Georgia this past Saturday with our ATL Exposure Series. We had plenty of standouts and top performers, but here were the guys that the coaches specifically wanted to highlight and recognize for their performance.

What a day it was for William Joyner, who you could argue was the MVP of the showcase, regardless of position. He had a good showing in every facet of camp, testing well, and then ultimately being unguardable in competition. He is fast and explosive at the line, but he has the suddenness and footwork to stack moves and set up defenders. Joyner is just a tough guard in 1 v 1 settings, and it's because he is packed full of juice.

We had a solid crop of DBs in attendance, but [player_tooltip player_id='2209723' first='Deon' last='Moore'] was recognized by coaches as a standout. Earlier on in camp, Moore really caught my eye. I thought he was the most natural mover of the DB group, flashing efficient footwork, fluid hips, and the speed to carry routes. Not only that, but he proved capable of stepping up to defend bigger receivers and consistently made an effort on the ball. Really intriguing, underrated rising senior that should creep onto the radar before the fall rolls around.

It was a good day for Murphy, who I think is only going to continue getting better. He went both ways during competition, and I thought he played with a patient, efficient pace to win. As a defender, he did a good job of mirroring receivers. The next step of his development is continuing to develop some speed to carry routes downfield as a defender and separate as a receiver. There are definitely some flashes to get excited about here.

Payton was a standout in the LB group, and was recognized by coaches post-event. I have said it before, but the showcase setting takes away half the game for the LB position, but he still found a way to stand out. He is a big body, but a much better athlete than you'd think. He has good foot speed, is sudden, and stepped up and competed in coverage against speedier guys. Just a rock-solid player with two years to develop and garner attention at a powerhouse in Blessed Trinity.

McBrier, now at 6'4 235, is a big body who caught eyes early and often thanks to his frame. I actually thought he looked even bigger than listed. He is still a puppy and learning how to move, but I actually thought he carried his weight really well, as evidenced in competition when he stretched the field vertically. He is a natural mismatch as well, so he demands near-perfect positioning and technique from DBs downfield. I will definitely be tracking this kid over the next few years as he grows and develops.

Williams is another youngster who has developed well and still looks like he is settling into himself. He is listed as an RB, but there are still a few different spots he can settle into. Regardless, he carries his weight well, flashed good foot speed, and again, in a setting where half of what makes him tick is taken away, he simply found a way to stand out to coaches and got recognized as a result.

Singleton was the QB MVP, and I found myself just standing and watching him throw. He is a smaller, but lean, athletic, cut prospect who will probably generate buzz as an ATH, but with the way he throws, college programs need to really watch him up close and evaluate him as a QB. The ball just came out of his hand differently. He has a quick release, the ball explodes out of his hand, and he spins it. He pushed the ball vertically better than anybody in attendance, and is someone I want to circle back and watch this fall now that he is on my radar.
