New Names Emerging This Spring

His athleticism is very obvious. He moves well with great change of direction and fluid hips. He stays straight up and balanced when changing direction, and pairs that with phenomenal closing speed. He has no issue recovering quickly if a receiver starts to break open. He also has good ball skills and a knack for contesting everything thrown his way. This slot receiver has a ton to offer. His footwork and release are about as polished as I have seen. He hits top end quickly, and can slam on the brakes in an instant, leaving the DB running all by themselves. When the ball comes his way, he is incredibly sure handed. No worries about drops or bobbles with this wideout. He just tested extremely well at our recent Prep Redzone Exposure Series event, and when I watched him a couple of months ago at a private workout, he excelled. Both as a DB and wideout, Jensen has superb agility and speed, and phenomenal ball skills. 50/50 balls are closer to 85/15 for him, as he's able to go up higher and high point the football. He's incredibly twitch, and knows how to leverage himself and get open. His attention to detail on his routes allows him to win even against really good defense-a true route technician. When the ball comes his way, he displays late hands, which are also some of the most reliable hands in the state. The Lefty throws a receiver friendly ball with great touch, a beautiful spiral, and when needed, supreme power. He has great mechanics and footwork, with no wasted movement, and is able to absolutely turn on it and launch a beautiful deep ball. On top of all of this, his accuracy was spot on. Putting the ball right where the receiver wants it, and leading them to their spot with great anticipation. You can't pass up the size, but the motor, speed and agility make him an even more intriguing prospect. I have seen him working out for college coaches and putting in the work in the weight room. I haven't done a deep dive on his film, but the little bit I have seen is enough to catch my attention in a big way.
