National Preps Collegiate Showcase: Top WR/TE Performers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>National Preps had their Collegiate Showcase earlier this month. With roughly 200 of the top players from MD, DE, DC, PA, NJ, and VA with over 100 college coaches present to get eyes on that talent. With nice size and a good strong overall build, Carter measured in at 6'4" 224lbs. He also posted a 4.94 laser 40 and an 8'11 1/2" SBJ, showing nice overall athleticism for his size. Carter showed of good footwork and smooth movement during positional drills. In 1v1s he proved to be a very difficult matchup. He is excellent at tracking the ball, finding it in the air and getting his hands up at the last moment to make the catch over the defender. A fluid route runner, Carter can get open either pushing vertical up the seam as well as work the flats. With strong hands as well, he is able to snatch it out the air, go up in pluck and offers a big catch radius. In positional drill work he displayed quick, fast, smooth and in control footwork. Kamarj is a twitchy fluid runner and is able to use that to get good separation. He's got natural hands, catching the ball effortlessly and offering a big catch radius with his length. While working out during the showcase at WR he can also be an impact CB. That versatility to pair with his athletic skill set is why Kamarj holds offer from Cuse, Auburn, and Marshall already. Showcasing rapid footwork, running through drills with fluidity and speed with no hiccups. Colt is a natural athlete with quick hips and is able to make sharp cuts on a time. He accelerates quickly and breaks down just as quick to change direction and create separation. A twitchy playmaker with natural hands, a smooth stride, and good ball skills / instincts. Colt was lights out during 1v1s with big catches. Making the trip up from Charlottesville VA to showcase his talents as a top TE. Nice size and big build kid, Nate measured in at 6'3" 248lbs. While having the size, Nate also moved really well. Was light on his feet and smooth in his routes and drill work. He also showed off strong hands and good ball skills. In 1v1s he was getting downfield and showed the ability to run multiple routes and go snatch the ball. His highlight play was during 1v1s where he was able to still make the catch even though his shirt had been pulled over his face. That big time instincts on tracking/finding the ball to make the catch. Making the trip all the way up from the 757 area in VA, he made his presence know on the day. With good testing numbers, he ran a 4.7 laser 40 and broad jumped 9'2". He's got excellent burst of the line and possesses very twitchy hips. Multiple times Elijah would push vertical, stem and break off his route leaving the defender in the dust for big catches. Showed good hands, tracking and going to the ball for the catch. Elijah definitely caught my eyes as he won pretty much everyone of his reps.
