National Preps Collegiate Showcase: Top DL Performers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>National Preps had their Collegiate Showcase earlier this month. With roughly 200 of the top players from MD, DE, DC, PA, NJ, and VA with over 100 college coaches present from FCS-D3 to get eyes on that talent. Measuring in at 6'3" 258lbs with a yoked up frame, Brynnen passes the eye ball test. He also ran a 5.10 laser 40 and broad jumped 9'0 1/2". Those back up the nice size/athleticism combination Brynnen possesses. Being a basketball player who can dunk no problem already that checks out. During drill work he showed off his quickness, COD ability, explosiveness &amp; fluidity as a runner. In 1v1s Brynnen was dominant. With a quick first step he won rep with active hands, club/slapping away the OL's hands and ripping through their arms. He was physical with a high energy, and out worked blockers at the POA. Measuring in at 6'1"+ and nice muscled frame at 244lbs. He ran a nice 4.91 laser 40 while broad jumping 9'5 1/4" displaying his impressive overall athleticism. In drill work and 1v1s Xavier displayed nice bent and burst. He's good quick feet, runs on his toes and is able to rip, dip and bend the edge as a rusher. College coaches noticed his skill set on the day as well as he picked up a Merrimack offer at the camp. Measuring in at 6'5 1/2" 224lbs with an excellent lean muscled frame and elite length. He's got good feet, runs like an athlete and has twitchy, fluid hips. Able to win with speed of the edge, use those good hips to dip &amp; rip and then scrape/chase down the ball. He certainly looks the part on the hoof, measuring in at 6'3" 230lbs with a wide shoulder thick built frame that can easily carry another 20+lbs of good muscle. He performed very well in testing with a 5.0 laser 40 and a SBJ of 10'4 1/4". That was the best SBJ score of all DL and top 5 of all position groups. Jonah plays with nice bend and motor. Good pop of the snap, he can drip &amp; rip and win with speed around the edge. While also winning with strength, showing good physicality and power from the lower half. A high end athlete for the position who runs on his toes with nice COD, Jonah looks the part of today's edge rusher. Well slapped together with a lean muscled up frame weighing at 244lbs Jaden plays with a nice speed/power combination. He plays fast and has quick hips &amp; feet. Jaden flied through the bag drills with speed, dropped his weight for sharp COD and plays with explosiveness. During 1v1s Jade had the best first step I saw that day. Shoots off the ball with burst/quickness getting the OL on their heels right away. He is able to win with active hands, dipping low and playing with physicality and energy. Jaden displayed an array of pass rush moves: from quick slaps, in &amp; out slips and a nice spin move. Look for Jaden to be a terror pass rusher for SMR this fall. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
