He feels pressure well when stepping up and is not afraid to take a shot to deliver a ball downfield and can buy time with his legs when needed. Beck shows he can throw from various arm angles and has good touch on deep balls while accurate outside the hashes and leads his receivers open consistently. Beck checks many boxes especially for a 2028 signal caller and should be adding to his offer list through his junior season. After the catch, he is tough to take down with good wiggle in space, has a strong base with contact balance when running through tacklers and has true open field speed in the clear with a third level gear. He is a very smooth mover for his size with heavy hands, closes quickly and can change direction/cover in space well for his size while impressing at multiple stops so far this off-season. He should perform well at camps this summer as well and start getting on college radars as a plus athlete for his size that passes the eye test with physical traits, especially for a rising Junior. He is a balanced back with a nice initial burst, quick feet through the first level and traffic and shows good vision in tight spaces while able to read flow and cutback when necessary. He also shows he can make tacklers miss with short area agility, force poor angles on the outside and has some speed at the second level while still working on his third level gear.
