Top Wide Receiver and Offensive Lineman Each Narrow List to Four

Carmel)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Overall Ranking: #3 Overall<br>Position Ranking: #1 Wide Receiver</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Burrell is the top wide receiver in the 2027 class and has been since day 1!&nbsp; Schools have been in pursuit of Burrell for years and now he is down to a final 4.&nbsp; They are Notre Dame, Michigan, Arizona State, and Missouri.&nbsp; Difficult to say that any of these are a surprise to make the cut as he has been on campus and heavily linked to all four programs.&nbsp; Still at the end of the day I think this one comes down to an old school battle of Notre Dame and Michigan for his services.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Redzone Eval of Burrell:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Burrell is one of the most gifted receivers the state has seen in several years.&nbsp; This past season for the Caravan he had 67 catches for 1,139 yards and 16 touchdowns.&nbsp; Also consider the fact that he was playing with three other big time pass catching options when looking at those numbers.&nbsp; What makes him special is his combination of speed, strength, body control, hands, and the ability to take the top off of the defense.&nbsp; His body control and tracking in the air are truly special for a prospect being able to make plays on go routes on a consistent basis!&nbsp; More than just a deep threat as he is adept at running various routes along with taking short routes and without breaking stride ripping off a long run.&nbsp; Also an impact return threat who we have seen take it to the house with ease and will bring this value at the next level!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>OL [player_tooltip player_id='1329014' first='Cameron' last='Wagner'] (St. Joseph Ogden)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Overall Ranking: #7 Overall<br>Position Ranking: #1 Offensive Lineman</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Just like his wide receiver counterpart Wagner is the best rising senior at his position and has been there since this class entered high school.&nbsp; The central Illinois tackle has been a national name for years with schools coast to coast pursuing him.&nbsp; He also narrowed his list to four programs on Tuesday.&nbsp; The finalists are Notre Dame, Oregon, Wisconsin, and Illinois.&nbsp; After a whirlwind visit tour in recent weeks he came to the conclusion that those were his top 4.&nbsp; In our eyes this will come down to Notre Dame and Oregon for the state's top lineman.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Redzone Eval of Wagner:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wagner is the top offensive lineman in the class.&nbsp; The massive left tackle moves incredibly well for his size.&nbsp; Elite footwork and base.&nbsp; He plows over defenders running them into the ground.&nbsp; The athleticism allows him to get to the second level blocking downfield.&nbsp; Sound technically with his use of angles.&nbsp; Elite pass protector with his footwork and knowing how to use his length to keep defenders out of his body.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
