Putting Oregon's Best 2028 Lineup on the Field "O"

What's it look like when you put Oregon's best lineup for the 2028 class out on the field. This isn't just a recruiting thing. It's the top individuals at their position who are projected to be the most influential for their teams this coming season. Have a look as we break down each side of the ball.          *Athletes will only be featured on one side of the football          OFFENSE          Boise St commit [player_tooltip player_id='904208' first='Zeke' last='Thomas'] leads the QB group and could be the state's #1 recruit when all is said and done. [player_tooltip player_id='1614894' first='Lincoln' last='Keeney'] will have to win the job at Tualatin first against talented 6-4 senior [player_tooltip player_id='2088802' first='Carter' last='Powers'], but the last name speaks for itself. 6-5 Sherwood HS quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='2105974' first='Kai' last='Boatsman'] is one of the fastest rising prospects in the state for his class and he would battle Keeney for the #2 spot on a team like this.    [player_tooltip player_id='1609595' first='Iden' last='Rule'] could very well be the state player of the year as a junior on either side of the ball. As referenced numerous times, pound for pound he's the best player in Oregon. He went for 940 yards and 10 TDs in 2025. West Linn's [player_tooltip player_id='1609659' first='Cohen' last='Bissell'] had an all-conference season as a sophomore with both RB's potentially going head-to-head in the state title game.    The WR group comes with elite size highlighted by the state's #4 overall ranked recruit in [player_tooltip player_id='1613644' first='Presley' last='DeLance']. I would expect a big summer circuit with him landing multiple offers. 6-6 receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1609636' first='Brock' last='Estes'] is the other guy who I think could blow up sooner than later. The track star is rangy and will be tough for anyone to stop, especially if he adds some additional thickness.    Two other wideouts with legit D1 potential are [player_tooltip player_id='1609788' first='Knox' last='Smith'] of Willamette and [player_tooltip player_id='1956192' first='Jora' last='Atwal'] of La Salle. Smith's season was cut short due to injury as a sophomore, but he could be a 1000+ yard receiver with one of the West coast's top QB's distributing the ball. Atwal put together some legit film which speaks for itself, showing off his impressive size and speed. He was also a 1st team all-conference corner at 6-4.    Both [player_tooltip player_id='1609785' first='Taison' last='Cepeda'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1126329' first='Luke' last='Bergmann'] are listed as ATH's with Cepeda doing most of his damage at RB last season and earning 2nd team all TRL honors for Tigard. Bergmann was an all-Metro selection while at Sunset as a freshman scoring a handful of TDs. There are high expectations for him after dealing with injuries all last year.   TE [player_tooltip player_id='1609596' first='Brady' last='Knips'] has the potential of being the #1 recruit in the state of Oregon. I would consider him one of the fastest rising prospects in the NW after earning all TRL honors on both sides of the football last season. Don't be surprised to see 6-5 TE/WR [player_tooltip player_id='1609764' first='Sam' last='Robbins'] at Jesuit next year after catching 9 TD passes with 80+ tackles as a sophomore at VC.    On the O line [player_tooltip player_id='1609771' first='Peter' last='Stanley'] out of Summit is one of the top line recruits in the NW with an offer from Cal. He should add to that offer list in the coming months.   Tualatin has an elite pair of big men returning in [player_tooltip player_id='2106065' first='Mason' last='Powarczuk'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2106063' first='Rocco' last='Grady']. Powarczuk started every game as a sophomore for a top T-Wolves program with Grady's ceiling being as high as any lineman in the region. All of sudden Tualatin will feature one of Oregon's top offensive fronts with the addition of [player_tooltip player_id='937240' first='Isaiah' last='Ormond'] from Mountainside and [player_tooltip player_id='1614794' first='Kolby' last='Wofford'] of Dayton.
