PRZ Exposure Series: Intriguing Group of QBs Ready To Compete

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The upcoming Prep Redzone Exposure Series camp on May 3 at Rio Rancho High School will feature an intriguing blend of experienced varsity quarterbacks and a promising group of up-and-coming signal callers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The experienced group will be led by Sandia QB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1594010' first='Jahleel' last='Lewis']</strong> (6-3, 225 pounds), Goddard QB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1667558' first='Nate' last='Vazquez']</strong>, La Cueva QB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1183085' first='Monty' last='Melendez']</strong>, Carlsbad QB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2101127' first='Marley' last='Munoz']</strong> and Organ Mountain QB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1680049' first='Jaden' last='Gonzales'].</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lewis threw for 2,083 yards and rushed for 358 in 10 games for Sandia last season. He's attended multiple PRZ camps and his arm strength always impresses.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Vazquez threw for 1,402 yards and 16 TD as a sophomore for the improving Rockets. &nbsp;The speedy Melendez (4.6 in 40) passed for 2,425 yards and 20 TD in his first season as La Cueva's starting QB. Munoz came close to joining the prestigious 1,000-1,000 club last season for Carlsbad. Gonzales emerged as a talented dual threat QB in 2025 for Organ Mountain with 1,850 total yards. &nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The group of up-and-comers includes 2028 Atrissco Heritage QB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1362443' first='Izaiah' last='Casaus']</strong> and 2028 Organ Mountain QB <strong>Jayden Kraft</strong> along with several 2029 quarterbacks: <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1118255' first='Chance' last='Hocker'] </strong>(Artesia), <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2178505' first='Landon' last='Smith']</strong> (Eldorado) and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2178840' first='Rohan' last='Patel']</strong> (Los Lunas).</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Most of the younger quarterbacks have played at the freshman or JV level but should compete for varsity jobs this summer. He has traveled to schools for camps and visits around the country and received multiple FBS offers.
