As we head into collegiate camp season, we take a look at a few of Oregon's top 2027 & 2028 athletes who have the potential to blow up. These individuals could see a major jump in their recruitment in the coming weeks and months. Check it..

[player_tooltip player_id='937240' first='Isaiah' last='Ormond'] 27' 6-3 295 Tualatin

The transfer from Mountainside will be a leading candidate for 6A lineman of the year honors. Ormond already ranks among the top lineman in the region, but his continued growth and dominance over the offseason has put him on a different level. I expect multiple FCS/Mid Majors to make their intentions known in the near future as he can play at the highest level on either side of the ball. The T Wolves may have just gotten the missing piece to their state title puzzle.

[player_tooltip player_id='1684534' first='Jettson' last='Gillam'] 27' 6-4 235 TE Mountain View OFFERS: San Diego St, Sacramento St, Eastern Washington

I talked about Gillam well in advance of his recent division 1 offers, as did his head coach Brian Crum, with the film speaking for itself. The big man has a full arsenal of tools necessary to play big time college football. I could see him being a double digit D1 offer athlete at the end of the day.

[player_tooltip player_id='1474331' first='Ben' last='Wiepert'] 27' 6-3 205 Safety Wilsonville OFFERS: New Mexico, Idaho, UC Davis, Portland St

I could see Wiepert being a Safety in the Big 10 or something similar and playing a high level of collegiate ball. As of right now he should be considered an Oregon 5A POY favorite heading into next season, leading the state in tackles with 137 and earning 1st team all-state honors as a junior. He possesses a unique combination of size and speed coming from a super impressive family as most know.

[player_tooltip player_id='1369697' first='Talon' last='Sosky'] 27' 6-4 205 WR Central Catholic OFFERS: Nevada, Army, Montana St, Idaho, Portland St

Sosky is that old school guy that every coach wants on their team. The size and talent speak for itself, but it's the other intangibles you can't teach which separates him. He could very well be a 1st team all-state, 50+ reception, 1000-yard receiver this year at CC. Look for other Big Sky and/or Mountain West schools to go on him sooner than later.

[player_tooltip player_id='1609596' first='Brady' last='Knips'] 28' 6-5 215 TE/DE Tualatin

It wouldn't surprise me to see Knips ranked the state's #1 overall recruit for the 2028 class when all is said and done. The big man earned All TRL honors last season on both sides of the ball, but it's his upside and overall dimensions which make him such an intriguing prospect. I expect him to land a handful of division 1 offers before the season, and potentially be one of the only players in the brutally tough Three Rivers League to earn 1st team accolades on O and D next year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1609636' first='Brock' last='Estes'] 28' 6-6 165 WR Tualatin

Estes is all of 6-6 and incredibly fluid for a kid so young with his size. The fact that he played JV ball last year speaks to the T Wolves depth. He placed 3rd in Oregon in the 110M Hurdles as a freshman putting his overall versatility into perspective. Both him and Knips killed it as part of Team Lillard on the 7v7 circuit. Look for him to be a major D1 recruit and blow up over the next year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1613644' first='Presley' last='DeLance'] 28' 6-4 230 WR Lake Oswego OFFERS: Arizona, Boise St, Sac St

DeLance has multiple offers and a stock which is rising as quick as anybody. He brings an already developed division 1 body to the field, making him one of the most intriguing prosects in the West. Lake O graduates a host of talent from last year's state championship team, including QB Hudson Kurland. I would expect defenses to have a tough time accounting for both [player_tooltip player_id='936920' first='Jasiah' last='Agnimel'] and DeLance, who are both major D1 prospects, and could rack up 1000+ yards receiving if the quarterback play is adequate.

[player_tooltip player_id='2105997' first='Bertram' last='Latta'] 28' 6-5 265 T Dallas

This is a big-time sleeper who most don't know about yet. As of right now, I have Latta ranked in the top 15 for the 2028 class in Oregon. There is still a lot of development that needs to take place, but the 2nd team all-conference tackle and honorable mention DE brings a lot the table you can't teach with his size and overall athleticism.
