The combines was deep at the receiver positions with talent of every kind and in every class. Here is a look at some of the top performers in the 2027 and 2028 classes who attended. I'll take a look at the underclassmen in another piece since it was that good.

[player_tooltip player_id='1287040' first='Coleman' last='Murchison'] I 6'1" 185 I St. Dominic I 2027 I
- The overall MVP of the combine put on a show in testing with his 4.58 laser forty, 10'2" broad jump, 33" vertical and 4.07 pro agility, but his backed that up with some great skills to go with all that athleticism. Murchison can play any of the receiver spots with his route running ability, burst, quick cuts and extra gear to get separation. Definite D1 prospect who is going to excel on the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1727428' first='Carter' last='Holmes'] I 5'11" 166 I Lindbergh I 2027 I
- Another speedster who is one of the top sprinters in the state. Holmes displayed great ball skills and quick hands. Something he utilizes well also playing defensive back for his Flyers. He was able to outrun any defender in one on ones and make the play. Testing wise he was near the top in most categories with a 4.49 laser forty, 10-foot broad jump and 34" vertical.

[player_tooltip player_id='2147646' first='Jory' last='Thoma'] I 6'1" 183 I Jackson I 2027 I
- One of the biggest sleeper prospect in the upcoming senior class. I saw Thoma make some incredible highlight reel plays on the field in 2025. He came into the combine and did not disappoint, backing up what I saw on the field with impressive testing numbers and performance in one on ones catching everything. Jory has all the tools with his 4.52 laser forty speed, 4.09 pro agility, 30' vertical and 9'8" broad jump. Big time college prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='1188262' first='Arness' last='Webb'] I 5'7" 160 I CBC I 2027 I
- Fast, quick twitch, and hard for high school defenders to cover. Webb looks poised for a breakout senior season with the offseason he has been having in 7v7 and at the combine. He has tremendous speed with a 4.46 laser forty time he ran and is explosive showcasing a 9'8" broad jump. He gets open and caught everything that came his way.

[player_tooltip player_id='1222940' first='Kingston' last='McPike'] I 5'11" 181 I CBC I 2027 I
- One of the top performers on the day overall who took home an award for what he showed at the combine. McPike is an undeniable D1 prospect that has all the tools and skills that college coaches look for. The athleticism is there as he showed during testing with a 4.51 forty, 32" vertical and 10'1 broad jump. He makes it look easy with his ability to get open and haul in every ball thrown his way. Nebraska recently offered.

[player_tooltip player_id='1258495' first='Jordan' last='Wright'] I 5'11" 162 I Raymore- Peculiar I 2028 I
- This talented young receiver made the trip across the state from Kansas City, and he showed it was worth it with his showcasing his athleticism and talent. Wright played last season at Raytown South but has moved to Raymore-Peculiar. He should have a breakout season based on his performance in drills, one on ones and putting up with testing numbers of a 4.6 laser forty, 9'8" broad jump and 4.13 pro agility. He gets open and has good body control and hands to make circus catches.

[player_tooltip player_id='2060010' first='Israel' last='Johnigan'] I 6'5" 215 I Center I 2028 I
- The big TE and talented basketball player recently picked up his first D1 offers for football this month. He has great size, runs really well and is smooth in his routes and with finishing plays. Catches the ball with ease and gets up field in a hurry using his size well both to catch the ball and makes plays with the ball in his hands. Impressive speed, quickness and explosive jumping ability. No wonder Iowa State and Texas Southern have offered early.

Max Trillo I 6'4" 222 I Lee's Summit I 2028 I
- Another rising and talented TE who looks like he has a D1 future ahead. Great size and strength. Very good blocker who helped his team win a state championship and his RB set a rushing record. He also does a great job getting up using his speed and hauling in pass after pass in one on ones, and in games when he's targeted. Very reliable hands and is tough to cover and tackle. Compete tight end prospect.

The combines was deep at the receiver positions with talent of every kind and in every class. Here is a look at some of the top performers in the 2027 and 2028 classes who attended. I'll take a look at the underclassmen in another piece since it was that good.
