Which 2027 RBs Need to Be on Your Radar?

Sarno measures in at 5'8 165-pounds playing RB/WR for Cherry Creek including running track. Good catching with very good ball tracking. Strong hands to hold on the ball while getting hit. Sarno has home run speed and is a threat to score with the ball in his hands. With more opportunities available, look for him to shine.     Csere is another RB/WR combo measuring in at 5'7 135-pounds playing basketball too. He had 48 carries for 641 yards with 6 touchdowns. An impressive 13.4 yards per carry. 9 receptions for 126 yards with 2 touchdowns. Csere has good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, speed, good change of direction, and balance. He uses his shiftiness to make defenders miss and will shed tackles with ease. Csere uses his very good vision and dynamic jump cuts to make his way through the 1st and 2nd level defenders. Good ball tracking and catching. Uses his strong hands to pluck the ball out of the air. Keep an eye on Csere this off-season.     Volpe measures in at 5'10 180-pounds playing RB/S for Evergreen. He had 137 carries for 638 yards with 6 touchdowns, 21 receptions for 237 yards, 42 total tackles (25 solo, 17 assisted), 1 INT, with 5 PD. Volpe has good athletic ability due to very good balance, acceleration, good change of direction, speed. Elusive bruiser. Very good inside running. If a hole is covered, will use his jump cut to pivot into the open hole. Volpe has a punishing running style and uses that to gain extra yards. Defenders fall off him as he uses his powerful legs to churn forward for extra yards. An exciting prospect to add to your radar.     Howe measures in at 6'2 190-pounds playing RB/DE for Monte Vista. He had 73 carries for 567 yards with 8 touchdowns, 7.8 YPC, 30 total tackles (18 solo, 12 assisted), 3 TFL, 3 sacks, 3 QB pressures, 3 PD, 2 FF, and 1 FR. Howe is a force on both sides of the ball. Very good balance, good change of direction, acceleration, and speed. As a running back, he's a downhill threat. He attacks the defense with power over speed. Very good inside running with good outside running. As an edge rusher, he shows his explosive burst off the LOS. Howe puts his arms up to create pass deflections. Uses his good strength to overpower the OL and get in the backfield. Look out for Howe.     Frazier measures in at 5'10 165-pounds playing RB/CB including track and field. He played 2 games as a RB last season. Frazier had 35 carries for 242 yards, 6.9 YPC, with 3 touchdowns, 36 total tackles (22 solo, 14 assisted), 4 PD, 1 FF, and 1 FR. Very good athletic ability due to very good balance, speed, acceleration, good change of direction, and jumping. Uses his very good vision to create a route through the defense. Very good inside and outside running. Frazier uses his speed to get past defenders and is gone. Consistently gains yards after contact. Trucks through defenders, sheds tackles, or uses his stiff arm to gain more yards. Frazier has shown good technique as a DB. I'm intrigued to see how he continues to build off a good season.
