Projects cleanly to DB where his frame and instincts fit best. National Honor Society kid with strong academics, which matters. Cornell junior day visit shows he's already on the radar. Basketball background adds to the overall profile. Would like to verify speed in person. D2 floor with FCS interest incoming, close to Top 200.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">5'9, 165 from Imhotep. Verified speed with a 6.99 in the 60m, that will carry weight with coaches. Recently named a Nike Indoor Nationals All-American, so the track profile is legit. Comes from a program that develops DBs consistently, and he's being coached well. Three interceptions last fall and I've seen him in person multiple times. Size will come up in conversations, but it shouldn't hold him back as much as people think. Plays fast and competes. Tape and track combo is strong. Multiple PBUs and interceptions on a solid three-minute tape. In retrospect, ranked too low initially. Army West Point junior day visit checks a big box. Roman's program success should only help his visibility this fall. Smart player, processes quickly, doesn't get out of position often. Classroom value adds to his recruiting profile in a big way. If he can prove long speed, FCS schools will push hard. Already close to that tier in my eyes.
