Prospects who will Dominate the Line of Scrimmage in 2026

These prospects wreaked havoc at the line of scrimmage in 2025, earning them All-Region honors in their respective regions. Expect to see these players again in 2026.    Johnson pairs an explosive get-off with violent hands that prevent offensive linemen from establishing their blocks on pass or run plays. His lateral quickness allows him to cross-face on down blocks and penetrate into the backfield consistently. He is an instinctive defender as well, reading the OL's blocks to find the ball, including diagnosing an OL's quick release to sniff out screen passes that rely on him rushing up-field. His film is impressive, leveling defenders on textbook kick outs on counter and punishing second-level defenders when wrapping. You can even see him making blocks in the secondary after running alongside his RB for 50 yds. When blocking down or zone blocking, he creates incredible power within his first two steps, driving defensive tackles off of the line of scrimmage at the point of attack.      Brown is a disruptor on the interior of the defensive line. He has the raw strength to bench press offensive linemen off of him before bull rushing them straight into the backfield. At 6'3 and 270 pounds, his speed is deceiving, as he will stunt from the interior to the C gap incredibly fast. Brown also does an excellent job of extending his arms into throwing lanes during the QB's release, swatting multiple passes at the line of scrimmage. Johnson was 1st Team All-Region 1-AAAAAA in 2025.      Bey plays with great leverage and anticipation of the snap, firing his hands into the chest of the offensive linemen before they've had a chance to take their first step. His initial shock pushes linemen back, consistently changing the line of scrimmage. He is interchangeable across the line, playing every technique from inside to out.      Akintoye plays with brute force at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. He combines heavy hands with powerful feet, creating an incredible amount of force when locking onto opponents before driving them off the line of scrimmage in his second and third steps. His athleticism and ability to place in space are evident offensively, as he blocks defenders in the open field on screen passes. Akintoye was an All-Region Honorable mention on Woodward's offensive line in 2025.      Thomas accounted for 8.0 sacks and 28.0 TFLs coming off the edge for Stockbridge in 2025. He has an explosive first step that offensive tackles struggle to match, often having to catch him off balance as they haven't had time to get deep enough in their pass set. Thomas has a diverse arsenal of rush moves, ripping through the arms of blockers or bull rushing them straight into the quarterback. His speed baits QB's on read runs, as he can retrace or close on the ball so fast that he can play both the QB and the RB. His relentless pursuit and high motor lead to a lot of TFLs coming from the backside of the play or on the perimeter.      Bellamy's athleticism and lateral quickness make him extremely difficult for offensive linemen to block, especially on outside run schemes. His short-area burst helps him to shoot through gaps without losing a step or being knocked off balance. Likewise, his speed can be seen when stunting from inside gaps to the C gap, resulting in sacks or QB pressures. The speed of his hands matches his feet, slipping past defenders by dipping his inside shoulder or hand, fighting to rip through the hands of blockers.
