Houston Areas Rising 2027 Cornerbacks to Watch

He plays with physicality and will separate receivers from the ball with pad-popping hits. Lee shows incredible instincts and knows how to work through blockers to make plays on the ball. In zone he shows high awareness and plays the ball well in the air. He is an impressive player to watch with the activity and urgency he shows on almost every play. He shows a quick hip-flip, maintain his balance, and run with any receiver on the deep ball. Nguyen drives on the ball out of his backpedal and has shown to be a great open-field tackler. His long frame allows him to cover much group when dropping back and his awareness and ability to recognize routes is one of his top traits. Garrett eyes opposing QBs and comes off of his coverage to cause PBUs or lay big hits. He shows a great jump on routes and drives out of his pedal to disrupt passing lanes.
