Film Friday: 2028's on the brink of breaking out

Duval is no doubt one of the top edge rushers of anyone in this 2028 class and is going to fit nicely at the P4 level by the time he graduates. He is explosive off the ball with violent inside hands, can set the edge and bend and dip around bigger tackles when rushing with a variety of pass rush moves in his toolbox. Duval has tons of untapped potential and upside for the edge position and recently made the transfer over to Corona Centennial from Mater Dei and is a big time pickup for the Huskies with still two more years left to play.     Roberson is a big play outside receiver that can stretch the field, create separation in open space and tracks the ball well over the top while able to make off-platform catches and win on 50/50 balls. He looks the ball into his hands, quickly knifes up-field after the catch and has short area quickness and twitch in the short area to avoid tacklers in the open field. Heading into the 2026 season, Roberson is one of the top returning receivers in the state and should hold national offers by this time next year.     Wilmot is one of the top defensive backs in the class across the state and is a smooth mover with ball skills, fluid hips in transition and has good length and a strong frame especially for his age. He can play both safety or corner and is a good open field tackler, comes up and packs a punch and has the frame to continue adding weight over the next two years before college. On tape he also shows he breaks quickly to the ball with return abilities and a high IQ in zone coverage while able to carry and run vertically with deep threats and has recovery speed and length. Wilmot is another kid that should be closing in on more offers soon as well and already has UNLV and Georgia State.     Pasina is a very athletic prospect that can play tackle or guard and bends well, explodes out of his stance and is strong and powerful at the POA. He shows the ability to get immediate vertical push and plays with good leverage while finishing blocks downfield with nasty intentions. In pass protection he is long levered to keep defenders off his chest and stays within his frame with patience and precision strikes. He should draw plenty of FCS+ attention this spring and through his senior year for St. Bonaventure.     Allen is one of the better 2028 offensive lineman that has been flying under the radar up to this point and is a interior mauler with heavy hands and foot drive through contact while able to move defenders off their mark and is athletic for his size. He stays within his frame when blocking, shows finish abilities and snaps out of his stance while showing he can get to the second level and pull across the LOS. Look for Allen to have a huge Junior season for Carson and is a candidate that could crack into our newest rankings in the next update.
