College coaches head to the state of Florida to talk with high school coaches about their football prospects for the upcoming season, and the answer continues to be the same.

No matter what class it may be, the flow of talent continues to run every season, and whether it's the rising seniors or juniors and sophomores, recruiters are met with the same elite talent that has roamed the fields across the Sunshine State for at least a half century or more.

While the focus remains on the rising senior class in 2027, colleges and universities also look into the future and want to know about the underclassmen, and that's where we have been able to assist colleges with that information.

Today, we once again look at some of the top Class of 2028 rising juniors that we have been able to watch.

With so many spring/summer combines and camps on the horizon, we continue to help fans and recruiters get a jump on watching the amazing talent we have.

Zacarius Collins, RB, 5'11, 170, Cottondale – 3.3 GPA. Basketball. The one thing about Florida is that the talent level we have in every corner of the state is simply unmatched. While many of the larger areas boast some elite prospects, there are smaller cities and towns that produce some of the best prospects you will see – and that is where this quality talent comes in. A tremendous running back who combines speed, athleticism and the ability to be a game changer. Whether it's as a runner or his play in the defensive secondary, here is someone to keep an eye on for the next few years.

Ke'Non “K.J.” Fuller, Athlete, 5'11, 155, Fort Myers Dunbar. Yet another versatile football talent in the class who can line up just about anywhere on the field and get the job done. His speed, balance and vision make him someone that presents problems for defenses as a running back. Is spending this off-season working on his craft, playing 7-on-7 and getting the opportunity to attend several camps. The college coaches will get a good look at him this coming spring.

[player_tooltip player_id='1841858' first='Tyree' last='Mannings Jr.'], WR, 6'0, 170, Venice. The word “elite” pops up when watching this amazing prospect who is coming off a huge year for the Indians. Runs great patterns, has excellent speed and creates an almost impossible matchup because of his passion for this game. Whether it's over the middle, a screen play or up top, this standout is easily one of the state's best for the class – and with a solid camp season, you will watch his stock rise. With all the impressive talent in the state at the position, he continues to show why he is right at top!

A.J. Pergola, DE/Edge, 6'1, 200, Land O'Lakes – 3.7 GPA. Watch this quality talent play and you will see why this program believes he will continue to get better and mature over the next two years. He makes up for his lack of size and a burst of speed with his knowledge of the position and how to play it. Very few offensive linemen will stop him on every play. He picks up things quickly and uses his instincts and ability to play this game at a high level to be a force for this program. His best years are certainly ahead of him, and with a positive spring and summer, he will watch his stock rise while making an impact on his team.

Richard Roundtree, QB, 5'10, 160, Hawthorne – 3.9 GPA. After leading his team to a state championship this past year, this is a rising junior that is fully on the map. This is one of the most athletic, intelligent and competitive quarterback prospects that you will find. His 2,581 yards passing (174 completions) along with his 35 total touchdowns has put him at a level where college coaches have watched him and appreciate what he brings to the table. He will simply blow up during the off-season, sending him into the 2026 season as one of the top student/athletes – on and off the playing field.
