This week on Prep Redzone Jordan Johnson and I (Andrew Nemec) released our Washington and Oregon prospect rankings for the class of 2029.

Admittedly, it's incredibly early for those young athletes, but it still provides a good snapshot of where things stand in the Northwest.

And those projections are much easier to make right now in the state of Washington.

Why?

More than half of the initial top 10 prospects already hold multiple FBS scholarship offers, a nearly-unprecedented level of college interest this early in the game.

The state of Oregon doesn't yet have a multi-offer 2029 prospect, but does have several really intriguing players at the top of the board.

On this week's "Recruiting with Andrew Nemec" on ESPN-affiliate 105.1 The Fan, Johnson and I spent half the show breaking down the top 2029s in both states.

At the top of the board in Washington are a pair of newly-acquired Federal Way standouts, offensive tackle [player_tooltip player_id='1397350' first='Xavier' last='Berry'] and wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1397315' first='Justin' last='Suega'].

Both players already boast significant offers and project as 20-plus scholarship guys with national attention.

Berry earned an offer from Oregon at the Northwest Showcase before he ever reached high school, while Suega looks the part of a dominant X receiver as a freshman.

At Nos. 3 and 4 are Puyallup's [player_tooltip player_id='1969806' first='Kitiona' last='Tupua'] and Mount Tahoma's [player_tooltip player_id='1397364' first='Kamari' last='Wilson'].

Both players look like men amongst boys at times at the varsity level despite their age - and depending on their development either player could jump up to the No. 1 spot before the rankings come to a close.

Wilson battled some of the toughest linemen in the region during the playoffs and still displayed flashes of elite play. That's a great sign for his development, and could be a preview of what is to come.

The quarterback position features Lakes star [player_tooltip player_id='1557937' first='Jadis' last='Lefono'], [player_tooltip player_id='1906030' first='Drew' last='Sorensen'] and [player_tooltip player_id='570837' first='Jagger' last='McEwen'], an exciting trio that will be fascinating to watch over the coming years.

In the state of Oregon, the top player is West Linn two-way lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1705963' first='Ronan' last='Crawford'], whose father played in the NFL and a young man who is drawing rave reviews early.

Tualatin running back [player_tooltip player_id='2079648' first='Easton' last='Grubb'] broke the school's freshman touchdown record with 41 last fall and added more than 3,000 all-purpose yards.

He will make the leap to the varsiy level to give the Timberwolves the most exciting trio of backs in recent memory in the state, alongside [player_tooltip player_id='1609595' first='Iden' last='Rule'] and [player_tooltip player_id='937241' first='Cole' last='Hachmeister'].

Nelson quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1564852' first='Landon' last='Benner'] isn't the biggest player on the board, but he elevates those around him and has immense potential depending on growth.
