The Cowapa League once again proved it belongs in the upper tier of 4A football, highlighted by Scappoose's run to the state semifinals and Tillamook's strong postseason showing. Scappoose dominated league play before powering through the first two playoff rounds, while Tillamook showed it could compete with anyone in the bracket. Even teams with rebuilding records continued to produce high-end individual talent, reinforcing the league's depth across the board. The physical style of play and balanced offenses that define the Cowapa were on full display this season. While veteran leadership drove many of the top teams, a handful of underclassmen stepped into major roles and earned all-league recognition. These are the young players positioned to shape the next era of Cowapa football.

First Team

Jackson's versatility immediately jumps off the page, contributing as both a tight end and defensive end at the varsity level. His ability to line up in multiple roles reflects strong size, physicality, and football awareness. On defense, he showed the toughness to set the edge and compete in the trenches, while on offense, he provides matchup potential as a pass catcher and blocker. As he continues to develop physically, Jackson's ceiling remains intriguing in both phases.

McCleary emerged as one of the most dynamic two-way underclassmen in the league, earning first-team recognition for his impact on both offense and defense. As a running back, he showed burst and vision, consistently creating explosive plays in space. On the defensive side, his ability to cover ground and compete at cornerback added major value. For a sophomore to earn that kind of two-way respect speaks to both his athleticism and football IQ. McCleary is clearly a foundational piece for Seaside moving forward.

Rund established himself as a bright spot in St. Helens' offense, flashing strong hands and the ability to win downfield. Even in a tough season overall, he showed he can stretch defenses and create separation against varsity competition. His body control and timing in contested situations stood out for a sophomore. With continued development in route detail and strength, Rund could become one of the more productive receivers in the league over the next two seasons.

Wroblewski earned first-team honors as a sophomore defensive back, a significant accomplishment in a league that values physical play in the secondary. He demonstrated confidence in coverage and the willingness to compete snap after snap. His instincts and positioning helped limit big plays, even when facing experienced quarterbacks. With two more seasons of development ahead, Wroblewski projects as a cornerstone defensive back for St. Helens.

Second Team

There Were No Underlcassmen Named Second Team All Cowapa League

Honorable Mention

Brito gained valuable experience along the offensive line as a sophomore, competing in one of the more physical conferences in 4A. Tackles in this league must handle size and power weekly, and Brito's recognition reflects his ability to hold his own. Continued technical development and added strength will be key for him moving forward. The foundation is there for Brito to grow into a consistent presence up front.

Coutts earned honorable mention recognition through steady play in the secondary and consistent effort. He showed the ability to compete in coverage while also contributing in run support. For a sophomore, earning postseason recognition signals both trust from coaches and flashes of playmaking ability. As he continues to mature physically, Coutts has the tools to elevate into a larger role.
