<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1825979' first='Trey' last='Barta'], Carlsbad</strong>: One of the fastest players on the Cavemen, Barta had a solid season at linebacker for the varsity, finishing with 49 tackles and 2.0 TFL. Barta was THE fastest Cavemen in early winter workouts, running a top speed of 20.7 mph. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1827328' first='Landon' last='Cochran'], Hope Christian</strong>: Excellent two-way player for the Huskies in 2025 with 30 receptions on offense and 24 tackles with 10,.0 TFL on defense, Excellent size at 6-foot-2,180 pounds</p>

<p><strong>Waylen Defrisco, Hope Christian</strong>: AS an inside linebacker, he led the Huskies in tackles with 47., Honorable Mention All-State selection.</p>

<p><strong>Arin Lopez, Loving</strong>: Emerged as one of the top young linebackers in southern New Mexico in 2025 as he led the Falcons with 107 tackles and 6.0 TFL.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1826073' first='Rudy' last='Orduno'], Gadsden</strong>: One of only two 2028 prospects to earn All-State honors in Class 5A. Helped anchor the Gadsden offensive line, something he'll do for the next two years as well.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1613434' first='Nolan' last='Romero-Williams'], Eldorado</strong>: One of the top young running backs in the Albuquerque Metro Region. Excellent size at 6-foot-1, 185 pounds. Rushed for over 1,000 yards and 8 TD for the Eagles in 205.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1684504' first='Jesus' last='Sanchez'], Centennial</strong>: Solid sophomore season for the Hawks with 430 rushing yards and 11 TD. Centennial could have one of the most dynamic offenses in the state next season with nearly all their major offensive skill position players returning. Sanchez will have a highly visible role.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1826184' first='Sincere' last='Torres'], Chaparral</strong>: One of the bigger offensive linemen in the state at 6-foot-3, 285 pounds. Earned Second Team All-State honors. Also made 21 tackles on defense. College coaches will definitely be taking a look at him over the next year.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1827357' first='Lawrence' last='Trujillo'], West Las Vegas</strong>: Honorable Mention All-State LB for the Dons + made 45 tackles with 5.0 TFL on defense. Outstanding two-way player.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1613756' first='Aiden' last='Woody'], Thoreau</strong>: Who was the leading sophomore passer in the state in 20925? Woody. He threw for over 1,600 yards and 15 TD to lead Thoreau to nine wins and a berth in the Class 3A playoffs. Very underrated, and most certainly flying under the radar because Thoreau gets very little mainstream media coverage.</p>
