After a day or two to say "thanks," I was back on the grind. On Saturday, November 29, 2025 Prep Redzone was boots-on-the-ground in Jackson, New Jersey as we hosted our latest rendition of the Stock Up Showcase. Below are my notes from the position group referenced in this article's title.

Typically, you do not want to swim a high hat when pass rushing. When I saw that happen, I was a bit surprised. However, it was not until I got back home and checked the roster that I understood how [player_tooltip player_id='2068834' first='Daniel' last='Cavanagh'] is able to get way with the move applied in an ill-advised scenario. For Cavanagh, who stands at 6'2", few prospects have the height that forbid him from swimming a high hat - no matter how upright they are. Cavanagh got past his matchup with ease, as he seems to have refined this move.

Physically speaking, [player_tooltip player_id='1636072' first='Chase' last='Cozzupoli'] is the type of prospect that I like. At about 5'10" and just under 270lbs, with a stout, compact build Cozzupoli has the frame that I like to play either guard or nose guard. He is well built, not top-heavy, has good weight distribution, and can play with low leverage and a low center of gravity. It would aid Cozzupoli to continue to hit the ladder every day this offseason to quicken his feet.

In-line with the raw appearance of prospect, [player_tooltip player_id='2063833' first='Noah' last='Damminger'] is another one that showed up looking good. Damminger first caught my eye when he was in his stance. It was very textbook and picture-esque: weight forward, head even with butt, off hand ready to attack, and a flat back. Power angles are one thing I would knit-pick at. When it came to performing, Damminger was one of the few prospects I noted that managed to throw his hips and actually get them around when pass rushing. Later on, I saw him work his hands, quite masterfully find you, upward and to a refit on a bull rush for an easy rep win.
