It was a good day in Jackson, MS yesterday. We were able to see some good players hitting the field. Let's check it out.

[player_tooltip player_id='1581407' first='Corey' last='Wiggins']

Wiggins is a 6-foot-2, 200-pound player who knows how to handle his business in his area. He has a good body frame that he knows how to use to his advantage. He is a player from Madison Central who possesses a lot of good intangibles that helped him succeed at the combine. Wiggins is able to do a good job of covering even though he is a taller player. He is going to start picking up more steam in his recruiting process.

[player_tooltip player_id='457972' first='Kylan' last='Bobo']

Bobo is a 6-foot, 200-pound running back who showed us that he is not just a downhill running back. However, we have known that for a long time. Bobo is a gifted player who can thrive as a running back all day long. He can also line up at the receiver position to make up bad matchups for defenses. Bobo has multiple power four offers. You can expect a lot more to come his way. He is a stud from Tupelo in the 2027 class.

Lacorrien Turnipseed

Turnipseed is a kid from Louisville who plays linebacker for his team. We think that he is going to be a safety on the next level. Turnipseed did a good job of covering during the 1v1 session yesterday. Turnipseed did a really good job in the open field tackling drill. He is going to cover up that short space fast. We also saw that he was able to break it down when he needed to in order to keep good positioning for making a tackle.

[player_tooltip player_id='2053911' first='Kross' last='Avent']

Avent is a player who caught our attention yesterday. He is a kid from East Webster who was phenomenal in their state championship victory last week. He came out and made things happen. Avent has a quick release with a strong arm. He does a good jobs of putting the ball in a good place for his receivers. He is able to have a quick release.

[player_tooltip player_id='1717150' first='Jobe' last='Lambert']

Lambert is a big boy from Poplarville who we have been excited about all season. He has been able to show up on offense and defense of his team. Lambert may be an interior offensive lineman on the next level. He is a 2027 prospect who division one programs should go ahead and get in tune with. Lambert is able to protect his own in short space. You can also see that he has his way of keeping DL from making an initial push in the trenches.
