By now, we already know that when it comes to quality difference makers, the state of Florida certainly produces some of the best in the nation.

No matter what region or what side of the ball, there are prospects – in every class that continue to make an impact.

As Prep Redzone Florida makes its way around the state shining a spotlight on certain athletes in different positions, we make sure that recruiting stars make no difference in the players that we promote and talk about.

Today, we are back in southwest Florida checking out some of the defensive playmakers as the state playoffs are under way.

2027 - Jadell Carter, Athlete, 6'5, 200, South Fort Myers – 3.3 GPA. This impressive junior is someone we have put on that radar before as one of the top young prospects in the state. His 128 tackles was among the best in the region. This versatile talent is also a tight end on the offensive side of the ball.
