A speed, shifty small-town back from Lyons, Georgia, Powell has been one of the biggest scoring machines across the state in the 2026 class. He plays hard, he's elusive in the open field, and knows how to break plenty of tackles with his 6-foot-0 205-pound frame. He's a tough, physical runner who has taken off for 1,023 yards through the regular season with an eye-opening 21 rushing touchdowns. He's run for at least one touchdown run every game but one and ran for at least two touchdowns in seven games this season including each of his last five. He's a small-town back who certainly ran wild this fall.

An explosive, versatile ball-carrier from Statesboro who ended his final season in a big, big way, Childers is a shifty back who can catch, run, and play all over the field. One of the best backs in the area, Childers had an incredibly consistent season this fall, rushing for at least 100 yards in six games. He also rushed for an impressive 25 touchdowns, running for at least one in every single game. The dynamic back rushed for at least two touchdowns in eight games this fall while also helping out of the backfield, catching 18 passes for 227 yards.

One of the more productive running backs across the state, Roberts is a do-it-all back who consistently put the Atkinson County offense on his back. Still flying under the radar, Roberts had rushed for at least two touchdowns in every game this season while hitting the 100-yard mark in nine of his ten games. His 35 rushing touchdowns led the state, and he ended the regular season with 1,708 yards. He hit the 200-yard mark four different times and proved this fall that he's one of the best small-town backs across the state.

Ranked as the No. 47 running back in the state for the 2026 class, Monfort should see a big rankings boost this winter after a terrific regular season. The small-town back from Morgan County was tough to stop all season long, rushing for 1,528 yards and an eye-opening 31 touchdowns. He ran for at least two touchdowns in every game during the regular season and ran for at least three touchdowns in eight of his 10 games. He was a scoring machine all season long and one of the leading rushers across the 2026 class. He's currently committed to West Georgia but flashed D1-caliber talent all season long.

The lead back for one of the best programs across the state, Lawrence ran wild during the regular season, leading the Yellow Jackets to an undefeated 10-0 record as they enter the playoffs. Lawrence has been a consistent weapon on the ground all year, running for 1,195 yards and 17 touchdowns. He's averaging an impressive 9.6 yards per carry and 120 yards per game. He hit the 100-yard mark seven times and ran for at least one touchdown in every single game. He was one of the top running backs across South Georgia this fall and will look to end his high school career with a state championship.
