Kennedy Catholic Film Study

On a neutral site, the Kings, and Gaels were set to kickoff, in a Catholic League matchup. The Kings won in the regular season, and Kennedy Catholic looked for revenge. A defensive game in the first half, saw scoring in high numbers in half #2. The game ended 32-13, with Christ The King, moving on in the playoffs. I can see the Sophomore, being one of the top Catholic League pass catchers as a Senior. I want to see him add weight, standing at 6'1" 140-Pounds, but he is a solid prospect.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Sophomore, had a few catches throughout the game, but nothing impressive in the stat sheet. On the field, he displayed good speed, a quick release, and good route running. KJ Dillon had a solid game at the helm, and did impress me despite the loss. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>First off he is big. Standing at 6'5" 180-Pounds, he is a big prospect who has a good frame. Weight wise I like the 200 mark for him to add some strength. He displayed a strong arm, and can toss the ball farther than most QB's. His accuracy was solid, and can use some work. On the ground, he has a good IQ, and can escape bad situations. The ATH, can play on both sides of the ball, and impressed me throughout the game. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>DeSocio, has a solid frame for an ATH, but I want to see him add some weight for the college level. He has solid speed, and a good release on the offensive side, which allows him to get solid separation. The Senior, has been the Kicker for Kennedy Catholic, but moved to offense due to injury. Rubino is a solid athlete, and with more time could easily be a college prospect. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>He made major impacts, in both the pass, and ground game against Christ The King. He was a strong runner, and showed good footwork, hitting gaps occasionally. I liked his burst, and he reached his top speed easily. As a pass catcher, he showed good route running ability, and had a good first step, gaining separation from defenders. The ATH, can play on both the offensive Line, and as a LB. Given his size, I like him more on the Defensive side of the ball. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As a LB, he has good footwork. His frame, sitting at 5'10" 205-Pounds, fits the position. He plays with a high motor, and shows it on the field. He is a physical tackler, and plugs gaps well. The Sophomore caught my eye, given his size. He plays mainly TE for the Gaels, but I could see him move to the line.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Cumberbatch, is a big guy, and can play on both sides of the ball. He can easily be a valuable blocker, and a valuable part of this Gaels squad. He is a young raw prospect, and a guy I can see rise in rankings as he progresses through high school. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
