Recruiting Update: WNMU Offers Trio of NM Prospects

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Western New Mexico hosted numerous prospects from New Mexico this past weekend in Silver City and extended offers to at least three from the city of Las Cruces.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Mustangs offered Las Cruces WR <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1142363' first='Francisco' last='Winnikoff']</strong>, Centennial DL <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='853023' first='Luke' last='Matherly']</strong> and 6-foot-4, 290-pound Centennial OL <strong>Ethan Turgoose</strong> following the game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 6-foot-1, 195-pound Winnikoff is one of the top receivers in the state. Through eight games this season, he has 39 receptions for 792 yards and 8 TD. He's played a vital role in the unbeaten Bulldawgs' powerful offensive attack. He has 807 total yards.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 6-foot-1, 240-pound Matherly is third on Centennial with 47 tackles with 2.0 TFL, 2.0 sacks, 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery. He has played on both sides of the line of scrimmage during his career with the Hawks.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Turgoose is one of the anchors for a Centennial offensive line that has paved the way for one of the top rushing attacks in the state.
