Week 6 of Oregon's 6A high school football season featured breakout performances and clutch moments across every conference. As league play heats up, the state's top athletes continue to rise to the occasion, whether it's dominating on the ground, lighting it up through the air, or locking things down on defense. Each week, we highlight the players who stood out the most in their respective conferences, recognizing the difference-makers who helped shape this week's results. Here are your 6A Conference Players of the Week for Week 6.

PIL

Franklin found its rhythm early in a 48-6 win over rival Cleveland, thanks to senior running back Hunter-Barber. His 87-yard touchdown run set the tone for the night as he racked up 135 yards on the ground and three total scores. Hunter-Barber's combination of burst and physicality gave the Cleveland defense problems all game long, and his performance helped the Lightning grab a much-needed conference win.

Metro League

Ortner delivered a performance for the record books as Jesuit rolled past Beaverton 63-27. The junior running back exploded for 396 yards and six touchdowns, putting together one of the most dominant outings of the season anywhere in 6A. Ortner consistently gashed the defense for big plays, showing exceptional vision and endurance. His ability to take over a game like this cements Jesuit's reputation as one of the state's most potent rushing attacks.

Pacific Conference

For another time this season, Heninger proved he's one of Oregon's premier backs. The Glencoe senior carried the offense with 306 rushing yards and five touchdowns in a 49-20 victory over Liberty. Heninger's patient running style and relentless motor helped Glencoe control the clock and wear down the defense. He continues to be the heartbeat of the Crimson Tide's offense as they stay near the top of the Pacific Conference standings.

Mt. Hood Conference

Garlington had a night to remember in Nelson's 56-19 win over Sandy. The junior wideout hauled in seven passes for 166 yards and four touchdowns, while also adding another score on special teams to finish with five total touchdowns and 290 all-purpose yards. Garlington's explosiveness and ability to take the top off the defense made him nearly impossible to contain. Performances like this showcase why he's quickly becoming one of the most dynamic receivers in the Mt. Hood Conference.

Three Rivers League

In his first game back from injury, Hachmeister wasted no time making an impact. The Tualatin junior carried the ball 21 times for 214 yards and two touchdowns, while also catching two passes for 43 yards in a 43-16 win over Oregon City. His combination of vision and agility re-energized the Timberwolves' offense and gave them another key playmaker for the stretch run. Hachmeister's return adds a new dimension to an already talented Tualatin squad.

Special District 1

Sophomore quarterback Thomas continues to turn heads for Willamette, leading the Wolverines to a 42-22 win over North Medford. Thomas threw for 352 yards and four touchdowns, carving up the defense with confidence and precision. His poise under pressure and ability to spread the ball around make him one of the most exciting young quarterbacks in the 6A ranks. With Willamette still undefeated, Thomas is proving he can lead his team through the heart of conference play.
