There were many players in the state of Georgia who took a step up. These players stretch across the whole state, but at the end of the day, I believe these five really took a step up in the high school scene when it comes to the offensive side of the football in the class of 2027.

I don't think anyone hit the scene harder than [player_tooltip player_id='1870257' first='Kyle' last='Cummings']. The two-way player is one of my favorite players in the state. He is one of the bigger factors in the Northwest Whitfield success, which is a solid team as a whole up north coached by reliable head football coach Josh Robinson. Cummings is a special-teams weapon both as a punter and especially as the punt returner. He has the complete package, and is someone who has + traits at both WR and DB. I personally like him the most at DB because of his physicality. He is pretty quick and can maximize the most of his length at the catch point. He will be one of the better players in the state at this rate.

One of the fastest cutting running backs in the state. He is someone who continues to improve every week, and he gets better every day. He is a balanced back with power and some elusiveness. He can also catch out of the backfield, which is exactly what you would want if you are looking for a back. This is why he is ranked as highly as he is. He is someone who could be considered the best running back in the state if you take a look at what he has to offer. Gipson has the chance to be one of the better players in the nation, and will likely commit to one of the better colleges in the nation with his deep bag of traits.

[player_tooltip player_id='1648880' first='Trayvis' last='Hunter'] took a step up this season. He is someone who is at his best with the ball in his hands. He is a dangerous prospect when he needs to create a path to a first down or a touchdown. He is swift with his moves with the ball in his hands. His route running has improved, and he continues to have sure hands. Hunter has the chance to be one of the more talked-about prospects, as some like to compare him to his brother. They are completely different prospects, but both succeed in different ways. Hunter will be at a college in the future, it's just where?

[player_tooltip player_id='416465' first='Brayden' last='Stoker'] is one of the more physical players in the northern part of the state. He is the guy that you want to throw the ball to if you have to throw it in coverage. He has sure hands, but don't sleep on his speed and elusiveness. He got better this year at Heritage and will be a force next year. The Generals utilize him correctly, and he remains to look the part of a D1 WR. He will be someone who will pick up a lot of attention during the off-season. He already holds offers from multiple schools, but you have to imagine that more is coming.

A talented prospect with a great command of the football. He is someone who can control the football very well, and can also run when needed. I am a fan of his dual-threat ability, but what mostly catches my eye is his consistency. Remaining consistent has been a huge factor in his success, which is something that is seen on the field. He continues to have one of the better arms in the state as well. He will be one to watch moving forward.
