Dexter at Pojoaque Valley

Dexter made the long trip to Pojoaque Valley for a Saturday afternoon kickoff. The two teams played just over a quarter before a Pojoaque Valley player suffered a serious injury on a kickoff, delaying the game about 15 minutes. Then the dark clouds came and with them, the lightning and rain. Shortly after 1:30 p.m., the game was halted. It never resumed. After a 2-1/2 hour delay, the coaches at Dexter and Pojoaque Valley decided to cancel the game and declare it a No Contest.
