Several Prospects Starting To Emerge

In this article:
There is no secret that the state of Florida continues to produce elite football talent every season.
No matter what class you look at, college coaches have already been south to check out the next wave of football players. It has been that way for five plus decades.
The great thing about the Sunshine State is that elite football is played year-round. Camps, combines, 7-on-7 event, spring, summer and during the regular season when prospects continue to grow and mature.
The recruiting of talent throughout the state begins during the freshman season, continues as sophomores and juniors and culminates in their senior year.
The advantage of having spring football attracts colleges and universities from all over the nation to see this game-changing talent that often elevates rosters at schools – big and small.
Every week during the year we make sure that a spotlight is shined directly on these young men who continue to step up and make a difference.
Today, we bring you five more players to keep an eye on. Some have already been evaluated while others are jumping on to the radar for the first time.
We have been fortunate to have promoted over 5,000 Florida prospects in all classes with video and grade information as well as following them in other sports.
2027 – Allens Alexandre, OL/DL, 6'4, 275, Key West. Wrestler. Here is a two-way standout that is someone to keep an eye on for the Conchs. A junior who is still learning but has the athleticism and talent to play on both sides of the ball. He is strong and technically sound.
2026 – Nigel Carleston, WR/S, 6'7, 180, Valrico Bloomingdale. Here is yet another rising football prospect that has everything you are looking for. As a defensive back his size and range are really something that college coaches need to keep an eye on. He may lack some skills, but you can guarantee that no matter where you put him, he will make a difference. Even on special teams.
2028 – Tristan Horne, Athlete, 5'8, 155, Delray Beach Atlantic. Track & Field. Whether it's as a running back, defensive secondary performer or on special teams, this is certainly someone who makes an impact. Being a sophomore, he will start to get more and more playing time, and as he learns about this game, he could be special for the Eagles.

, Athlete, 6'0, 215, Lakeland Lake Gibson. Another of the rising underclassmen that is already showing plenty for the Braves as a runner who has plenty of skill. He is quick and has tremendous vision. On defense, he lines up as an outside linebacker who will get after the passers as well as be a run stopper. As recruiters and college coaches get a better look at him and as he continues to mature, it will be fun to watch him over the next year.
2026 – Xavier Massey, OL, 6'4, 290, Bushnell South Sumter – 3.3 GPA. On a team loaded with talent, especially skill prospects, here is a lineman with size, improving strength and a passion of playing each play to the end. He sustains blocks, gets low and uses his leverage on running plays. As a pass protector, his footwork stands out and his ability to use his upper body strength is something that is getting him to that next level. Solid player that needs to be watched. He's committed to attend North Carolina Central.
