From quarterbacks slinging it all over the field to running backs putting up video-game rushing totals, these prospects are stuffing the stat sheet and raising eyebrows on both Friday nights and recruiting boards.   Here are the primetime playmakers to know heading into Week Three.    The Lamar pledge is off to a hot start, throwing for 403 yards and 2 touchdowns while adding a rushing score in week two. Imhoff has the look of a seasoned signal-caller who controls the offense with poise. His senior-year production may leave bigger programs wondering what they missed. Expect him to be the steady leader Lamar envisioned when they made him a priority.     Already one of the top young quarterbacks in Texas, Randall has wasted no time in proving why he's on pace to be a national name. With 400 yards passing, 5 touchdowns through the air, and 2 more on the ground in week two, he's showing the same command that helped Highland Park reach a state title game as a sophomore. The 2027 cycle is still taking shape, but Randall is a safe bet to become one of its headline names as schools across the country line up for him.     When you turn on the Highland Park tape, it's clear who the go-to target is. Bozman has already piled up 337 yards and 6 touchdowns while averaging a staggering 21 yards per catch in the first two weeks of the season. His speed stretches defenses vertically, and his crisp routes make him nearly unguardable in one-on-one situations. With an Oklahoma offer already on the table, his stock is soaring, and more Power Four programs are sure to join the mix.     Nichols is another young playmaker making noise early. In Week Two alone, he hauled in 11 passes for 115 yards and a touchdown. His quickness, reliable hands, and ability to separate make him a quarterback's best friend. Already holding an offer from San Diego State, Nichols is positioning himself as a breakout candidate in the 2027 class with a ceiling that should attract more recruiting attention.     Sela runs with a style that jumps off the screen,decisive, physical, and fast. His 194-yard, 1-touchdown performance in Week Two showcased his ability to churn out tough yards between the tackles while still possessing the wiggle to make defenders miss in space. A relatively under-the-radar prospect right now, Sela's early-season performances are the kind that can ignite recruiting buzz and draw interest from college programs looking for a workhorse back.     One of the crown jewels of the 2026 class, Osborne is showing exactly why Notre Dame made him a top priority. He opened the season with 220 yards and 2 touchdowns in Week One, then followed it with 194 yards and another score in Week Two. A complete back with power, speed, and shiftiness, Osborne is tracking toward his fourth straight 1,000-yard season. His matchup this weekend against Waxahachie will be one of the most closely watched games in the Metroplex, as he looks to continue his dominance against top-tier competition.     Cobbs has emerged as one of the most versatile players in the state. Offensively, he flashed his big-play ability with 4 rushing touchdowns against Arlington Martin, but he's equally impactful on defense as a hybrid safety/linebacker who can cover ground and deliver hits. Already pledged to Illinois, Cobbs has the skill set that enables him to be a playmaker wherever he lines up.     Few players have turned more heads in the early weeks than Stephens. He opened the year with 173 rushing yards and a touchdown, plus 37 receiving yards and a score. Then, in Week Two, he exploded for 314 rushing yards and 3 more touchdowns. Stephens has game-breaking acceleration and rare stop-start ability, making him one of the toughest backs to contain in space. With these early-season fireworks, it's only a matter of time before college coaches start dialing his number.     At 5-foot-9 and 197 pounds, Quimby runs with the kind of low center of gravity that defenders hate to deal with. He's already piled up 333 yards and 2 touchdowns this season in Week Two, flashing vision, agility, and impressive cutback ability. Still just a junior, Quimby is carving out a reputation as one of the more underrated rushers in the Metroplex. Expect his recruitment to heat up as schools evaluate his steady production.     A multi-year starter for Fort Worth Christian, Gigliotta is once again proving he's one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the area. In Week Two, he went 22-of-30 for 334 yards and 4 touchdowns, picking up right where he left off after a junior season where he racked up 2,842 total yards and 28 combined touchdowns. At 6-foot, 190 pounds, Gigliotta isn't just a stat-padder, he's a leader with a high football IQ and proven consistency. His senior tape could push him firmly onto the radar for FCS and Group of Five schools.
