The Northwest Top 100 List ranks the top athletes in the region from the classes of 2026-28' as one group. Keep in mind there are (6) total classes within Oregon and Washington, so it's not your normal list. Here we project out on who we think will have the most successful collegiate and potential professional career.

Looking at the top 50 we see a total of 33 Washington and 17 Oregon athletes listed which makes sense with Washington having a 2 to 1 population advantage. You will see updated offers and commitments next to each individual's name. Thus far UW leads the pack with 4 commits, along with UCLA, Boise St, Washington St, and Nevada all having 2. Oregon, Michigan St, Utah, Stanford, W. Virginia, Wisconsin, Oregon St, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, BYU, Sac St, and UC Davis all have 1.

Here is a quick summary of #1-25 ..

It was brutally tough to select between [player_tooltip player_id='632957' first='Josiah' last='Molden'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1003593' first='Tytan' last='McNeal'] for the #1 spot. [player_tooltip player_id='402789' first='Derek' last='Colman-Brusa'] was right there as well. Each will project as Sunday guys with Molden ultimately being the safest bet, considering his family's success in the NFL. McNeal is a freak athlete and one of the best basketball players in the nation also.

The D line group in the NW is legit for 2026 with Colman-Brusa, O'Dea teammates [player_tooltip player_id='402788' first='David' last='Schwerzel'] and [player_tooltip player_id='284217' first='FA' last='Siale'], along with [player_tooltip player_id='739439' first='Tony' last='Cumberland'] and [player_tooltip player_id='769915' first='Noah' last='Tishendorf'] all ranking as high profile national recruits. Underclass D lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1617792' first='Aedyn' last='Havili'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1599603' first='Tevita' last='Nonu'] also have offers from the likes of Michigan and Notre Dame. Just to put into perspective the depth of the position you have 7 of the top 13 athletes coming from the D line.

It's interesting to see so many NW athletes leaving the region to go play for former Pac 12 schools. UW did a great job in getting [player_tooltip player_id='457009' first='Sam' last='Vyhlidal'] who might be the top overall athlete from the entire top 100. Others from the top 25 who bounced and have committed elsewhere include [player_tooltip player_id='402416' first='Lamarcus' last='Bell'] (Utah), [player_tooltip player_id='402799' first='Wassie' last='Lugolobi'] (Stanford), [player_tooltip player_id='1655930' first='Ramzak' last='Fruean'] (UCLA) who joins [player_tooltip player_id='402788' first='David' last='Schwerzel'], and [player_tooltip player_id='936091' first='Colby' last='Johnson'] (Colorado).

1.[player_tooltip player_id='632957' first='Josiah' last='Molden'] 6-0 180 27' CB West Linn OR OFFERS (15) Oregon, Ohio St, Notre Dame, USC, Washington

Molden is a 4* recruit and one of the top ranked players in America for his class. He will be in the conversation when referencing the best players ever to come out of Oregon. Last season he earned 1st team all-state honors, finishing with 33 tackles, 14 PBUs, and 2 INTs, while helping the Lions win the 6A title.

2.[player_tooltip player_id='1003593' first='Tytan' last='McNeal'] 6-5 210 28' TE/DE Eastside Catholic WA OFFERS (20) Michigan, Oklahoma, Oregon, Washington, USC

One of the top dual sport athletes in America. His overall versatility puts him in an elite category as a potential 5* recruit with the offers speaking for themselves. He earned all-conference honors on both sides of the football as a freshman (2nd team DE, Honorable Mention WR).

3.[player_tooltip player_id='402789' first='Derek' last='Colman-Brusa'] 6-5 270 26' DE Kennedy Catholic WA COMMITTED: Washington

The 4A NPSL Defensive POY is ranked among the top 20 DE's in America for his class and projects as a Sunday guy. Expect Colman-Brusa to finish among the all-time statistical leaders, heading into his senior year with 24 sacks and 44 tackles for loss. He was a big get for UW and should play early.

4.[player_tooltip player_id='984855' first='AJ' last='Tuivaiave'] 6-3 205 28' QB Graham Kapowsin WA OFFERS (8) Washington, Oregon, BYU, Ariz St, Miami

GK will have a chance to win a state title or two with his leadership and a loaded roster. Tuivaiave was one of the only freshman nationwide to earn conference POY honors. He racked up SPSL South Offensive Player of the Year accolades, throwing for 2,443 yards and 27 TDs/9 INTs, on 66% passing.

5.[player_tooltip player_id='402788' first='David' last='Schwerzel'] 6-4 255 26' DE O'Dea WA COMMITTED: UCLA

Schwerzel is another athlete we will likely see in the NFL. The 4* committed to UCLA over Washington, Stanford, and numerous other high-profile programs. Look for him to add multiple accolades this season after being named the state's POY by the Seattle Seahawks and the Metro's Co D Lineman of the year.

6.[player_tooltip player_id='284217' first='FA' last='Siale'] 6-3 265 26' DE O'Dea WA COMMITTED: Michigan St

It seems like a great decision by Siale to go play for Jonathan Smith and MSU. He will return after a dominant state championship season at O'Dea where he will look to top his numbers of 44 tackles, 5 sacks, and 2 TFL's from last year.

7.[player_tooltip player_id='739439' first='Tony' last='Cumberland'] 6-5 285 26' DE Willamette OR COMMITTED: Oregon

The 4* originally from Desert Mountain HS in Arizona is ranked among the top 20 D lineman in America. Cumberland has all the physical attributes, and we will see how that translates for a Willamette program that now features double digit D1 guys.

8.[player_tooltip player_id='984781' first='Markel' last='Newell'] 5-11 180 28' Safety Puyallup WA OFFERS (3) Washington, Arizona St

Newell has some of the most impressive freshman film that I have seen. His overall physicality and instincts as a youngster are incredibly unique. Look for him to be in the Conference POY conversation this year, and likely double his numbers from last season, where he made 30+ tackles with multiple INTs.

9.[player_tooltip player_id='402416' first='Lamarcus' last='Bell'] 5-11 190 26' RB Lake Oswego OR COMMITTED: Utah

Bell flipped from Oregon St to Utah in what looks to be a great situation. The reigning Oregon 6A POY went for 2000+ yards and 29 TDs, averaging 12.4 yards per carry last season. The Lakers are expecting to win a state title.

10.[player_tooltip player_id='457009' first='Sam' last='Vyhlidal'] 6-4 225 26' TE Lake Oswego OR COMMITTED: Washington

Vyhlidal was closing in on 20 offers before his commitment to UW. The Metro League Defensive POY last season made the move to Lake Oswego from Mountainside, after earning 1st team all-league honors on both sides of the ball the last two years. He's the real deal.

11.[player_tooltip player_id='1617792' first='Aedyn' last='Havili'] 6-2 310 28' DT Eastside Catholic WA OFFERS (8) Washington, Michigan, Arizona St, Arizona, Wash St,

There are very few athletes nationwide who dominate up front physically like he did as a freshman. Havili earned 2nd team all-conference honors and MVP'd Michigan's camp over the off season. His stock will continue to sky rocket.

12.[player_tooltip player_id='769915' first='Noah' last='Tishendorf'] 6-3 250 26' DE Lakeridge OR COMMITTED: West Virginia

Tishendorf is another one who flipped from Oregon St to go play in the Big 12 for the Mountaineers. When all is said and done, he could be one of the all-time state leaders statistically after totaling 20 sacks and 40 TFL's the last two seasons.

13.[player_tooltip player_id='1599603' first='Tevita' last='Nonu'] 6-3 275 27' DT O'Dea WA OFFERS (10) Notre Dame, Washington, Cal, Arizona St, Arizona

Nonu makes a big jump up the rankings board with numerous offers coming in over the last few months from the likes of Notre Dame. His mobility in the trenches is incredibly unique, being a key member of O'Dea's undefeated state championship team.

14.[player_tooltip player_id='1095838' first='Jack' last='Brauckmiller'] 6-6 220 27' TE/DE Canby OR OFFERS (1) UNLV

If Brauckmiller stays healthy and puts football first, he's a potential Sunday guy. As a three-sport athlete, he is an elite baseball player and will have options there as well. He was only able to play in 2 1/2 games last year due to injury, where he averaged 18.5 yards per reception, catching 13 balls for 241 yards and a TD. He also stood out on D with 21 tackles and 5 tackles for loss.

15.[player_tooltip player_id='402799' first='Wassie' last='Lugolobi'] 6-2 220 26' LB Eastside Catholic WA COMMITTED: Stanford

Lugolobi flipped from UW to Stanford which was an interesting. Credit to the Cardinal on landing a commitment of his caliber with the program struggling and going 3-9 the last two seasons. He returns to Eastside after being named the Metro's Co Defensive POY last season.

16.[player_tooltip player_id='1655930' first='Ramzak' last='Fruean'] 6-4 210 26' LB Bethel WA COMMITTED: UCLA

The Bruins have to be stoked grabbing two of Washington's top five prospects for the class. Fruean had maybe the fastest rising stock of any player in the state and combos nicely with Schwerzel.

17.[player_tooltip player_id='1188109' first='Braylon' last='Pope'] 6-3 185 27' WR Sumner WA OFFERS (13) USC, Washington, Oregon, Miami, Arizona St

I could see Pope being the #1 recruit in the state for the 27' class with another big season. He went off as a sophomore, helping his team to the 4A title, while earning 1st team all-state accolades in the process. His 68 catches for 952 yards last year speaks to his game.

18.[player_tooltip player_id='1315611' first='Zach' last='Albright'] 6-5 220 27' TE Glacier Peak WA OFFERS (7) Michigan, Wisconsin, Washington, Cal, Minnesota

Probably the fastest rising recruit in the NW. His big time offers outside the region speak to him potentially being one of the top TE prospects nationwide for his class. As a sophomore he put up impressive numbers catching 29 passes for 403 yards and 8 TDs.

19.[player_tooltip player_id='791149' first='Kawai' last='Chamberlin'] 6-3 220 27' LB Willamette OR OFFERS (4) Boise St, Washington St

Chamberlin's stock continues to rise, excelling on the camp circuit. He's big and fast and more than looked the part at Boise St where he landed an offer last month. He will be a conference POY favorite this coming season, after earning 2nd team all-league honors and finishing with 46 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks last year.

20.[player_tooltip player_id='1188082' first='Gecova' last='Doyal'] 6-4 285 27' OL Puyallup WA OFFERS (14) Washington, Oregon, Tennessee, Minnesota, Texas A/M

Definitely one to watch with Puyallup being one of the fastest rising programs in the region. I see Doyal projecting more on the interior with this being a huge year from a recruitment standpoint. He earned 1st team all-conference honors as a sophomore.

21.[player_tooltip player_id='987158' first='Jack' last='Sievers'] 6-5 220 26' TE Archbishop Murphy WA COMMITTED: Wisconsin

Speaking of rising stocks, it's hard to top what Sievers has done over the last few months. His offer from Oklahoma and commitment to the Badgers helped solidify his sky rocketing status. His team could be in the mix for a state title after a 10-2 season a year ago.

22.[player_tooltip player_id='1654734' first='PJ' last='Tautu'] 6-4 245 28' DE Central Catholic OR OFFERS (2) Oregon St, Portland St

Tautu has solidified himself as a top recruit after an outstanding off season where he picked up multiple D1 offers. You can watch his freshman film at the varsity level and his reps on the camp circuit and see that he is special.

23.[player_tooltip player_id='985348' first='Jayce' last='Halasz'] 6-2 175 28' WR/DB Graham Kapowsin WA OFFERS (2) Nevada, Sacramento St

One of the top two-way threats on the west coast for his class. Halasz racked up a couple D1 offers over the last few months and there will be many more. As a freshman he caught 18 passes with 200+ all-purpose yards and 2TD's. He also had 20 tackles with an INT, and 6 PBUs.

24.[player_tooltip player_id='904208' first='Zeke' last='Thomas'] 6-0 180 28' QB Willamette OR OFFERS (1) Sacamento St

One of the top dual-sport athletes on the west coast for his class. Thomas broke every passing record in Oregon among freshman, throwing for 2,508 yards and 28 TDs/4 INTs with a 65% completion percentage. He makes the move from Crescent Valley to Willamette where he will lead a loaded squad at the 6A level.

25.[player_tooltip player_id='936091' first='Colby' last='Johnson'] 6-3 210 26' LB Eastlake WA COMMITTED: Colorado

The 1st team all KingCo returner has blown up in recent months, running a 10.8 100 meters and committing to CU over the likes of Arizona and San Diego St. Give the Buffaloes a ton of credit as I think they got a steal with his combination of size and speed. He could be one of the top RB's in Washington for Eastlake this season as well.
