Talented Clearwater Ready For 2025 Season

When he was hired back in 2021 to elevate Clearwater High’s football program, Thor Jozwiak accepted the position knowing that with his knowledge and work ethic, the players and coaches associated with the program would accept what he brought to the table.
As we fast forward four years, this is a team that is coming off a 7-4 season that included a district championship after winning the last six games of the 2024 season.
What Jozwiak and this team learned from last year and a state playoff setback to Tampa Jesuit that this is now a program that fully expects to be in the mix every year, and with a productive off-season, this is a year they have all looked forward to.
While the seven wins were important to the growth of Clearwater High football, it was the losses – to Jesuit, 1A power Clearwater Central Catholic, always talented St. Petersburg Lakewood and Wiregrass Ranch that put this season into focus.

2026 – Wayne Cunningham, LB, 6’2, 225 – 3.0 GPA. One of the top defensive prospects in the region, this impressive talent is back and will be a force for this program with his size, speed and ability to play the game at a high level.
2026 – Kentrail McCrae Kentrail McCrae 6'2" | 185 lbs | DB/WR Clearwater | 2026 FL Jr., CB/FS, 6’2, 180. Whether as a cover cornerback or as a game-altering safety, here is someone that is versatile, talented and special. Headed to the University of Pittsburgh, this athletic prospect will also be the heart and soul of the secondary.
2026 – Samuel Roseborough Samuel Roseborough 6'5" | 285 lbs | OL Clearwater | 2026 State FL , OL, 6’5, 285 – 3.4 GPA. If you haven’t watched this elite talent, you are missing something special. This Texas A&M commit has everything you are looking for in line prospect that opens holes for the running game and protects the quarterback, providing the time to open up the passing game.
2026 – Jaylen White, QB, 6’1, 200. If you saw him perform in the spring and throughout the off-season, this North Carolina Charlotte commit is a special quarterback. Big and accurate arm that can run and move the chains in so many ways. The offense will be fun to watch with this athletic and gifted signal caller making plays.
