After a nearly two-hour lightning delay, Armwood rolled over CCC in a convincing win at home. The Hawks' defense set the tone early with two first-half pick-sixes from linebacker Theo Wilson, and their playmakers on both sides showed why this team will be a problem once again.

Theo Wilson | LB | 2027 | @_theowilson_

Wilson had the type of game that makes people take notice. At 6-1, he's an athletic linebacker who moves like a safety, and his instincts stood out. Both of his interceptions came from reading the quarterback and jumping passing lanes with confidence, taking them back for touchdowns. His range allows him to cover backs and tight ends in space, while his physicality shows when he fills gaps. Wilson looks like a defensive centerpiece who's about to blow up on the recruiting scene.

Brush carried himself like a steady QB1 all night. He was calm in the pocket, delivered throws on time, and showed he can stretch the field with accuracy. His 60-yard strike to Micah Hudgins was a good example of his arm strength and touch. Beyond the numbers, Brush looked comfortable running the offense, commanding tempo, and trusting his weapons.

[player_tooltip player_id='1249091' first='Jaelen' last='Waters'] | CB | 2026 (Miami commit) | @Waters_Jaelen

Waters' presence changes the game. He locked down his side of the field, forcing CCC to avoid throwing his way. What stood out most was his technique — patient at the line, fluid hips, and the ability to close space quickly. Waters doesn't just defend, he erases options. He continues to prove he's one of the nation's best defensive backs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1793498' first='D'Montae' last='Tims'] | S | 2026 (Colorado commit) | @_humble0

Tims plays with fire. He was constantly vocal, directing traffic in the secondary, and then backing it up with physical play. His range allowed him to cover sideline to sideline, while his toughness showed on tackles in space. He's the type of versatile safety who can roll down in the box or play deep. His leadership presence was as valuable as his athleticism Friday night.

[player_tooltip player_id='1799959' first='Kallen' last='Martinez'] | DB | 2026 | @Kallenmartinez

One of the more underrated names in Florida's 2026 class. Martinez came away with an interception and was fearless in run support, throwing his body around to make stops. His ball skills are excellent, and he has the versatility to play corner or safety depending on the matchup. UCONN commit but expect his recruitment to rise this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1268166' first='Corey' last='Simms'] | RB | 2026 | @CoreySimms18

Simms is new to the program, but he looks like the piece this offense needs. He showed flashes as a physical between the tackles runner. With more touches, he has the skillset to be a focal point of the offense.

Tyree Jones | DB | 2026 | @Tyreej15

Jones brought energy to the Marauders' defense, playing with confidence even in a tough matchup. He attacked the football in the air, played physical at the line, and wasn't shy about mixing it up in run support.
