<p>Cleveland offensive linemen <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='851862' first='Moses' last='Sparks']</strong> has committed to Utah, as reported by the media in Salt Lake City on July 5.</p>

<p>Utah is now a member of the Big 12 Conference.</p>

<p>The 6-foot-5, 280-pound Sparks took an official visit to Utah in early June. He chose the Utes over offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Boise State, Houston, Nebraska and Texas Tech, among others.</p>

<p>Sparks is currently rated the No. 40 offensive line prospect in the nation by 24/7 Sports for the 2026 class.</p>

<p>The earliest Sparks can sign with Utah is December during the early signing period. Per the NCAA, the early signing period for the 2026 class will run from Dec. 3-5, 2025. The traditional ‘National Signing Day' is Feb. 4, 2026. </p>

<p>Cleveland just wrapped up its two-week period of practicing in pads. Preseason camp begins for most schools on Monday Aug. 4 with Week 1 of the regular season scheduled for Aug. 21-23.</p>

<p>The Storm are expected to have one of the best offensive lines in the state with Sparks serving as the anchor at left tackle. Right now, at least three of the five projected O-Line starters for Cleveland hold college offers.</p>

<p>Cleveland, the defending Class 6A champions, open the 2025 regular season on Sat., Aug. 23 at Centennial. The game is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the Field of Dreams. The Storm will also face Los Lunas, Clovis, Las Cruces and El Paso (TX) Pebble Hills in non-district play.</p>

<p>The latter three games will be played at Lightning Bolt Stadium in Rio Rancho. </p>
