On Saturday, May 10th, 2025 I was welcomed back for the third year in a row to cover Coach Nick Pennisi‘s PSR Big Camp Series hosted at Monroe High School in Monroe, New Jersey. As I have come to expect, this event was packed with participation, loaded with talent, and ran extremely well.

Different than other events, Pennisi opted to have three different check-in times, based on position groupings. This afforded me the opportunity to get a closer look at many of the prospects in attendance. Below are just some of my notes on the position group mentioned in this article's title.

There might not have been a more pure, silky-smooth route runner than Warren Hills [player_tooltip player_id='1466362' first='Mekhi' last='Garrett']. I was really enamored by how well Garrett ran, similar to a hot knife slicing through butter. This translated to easy wins at the line of scrimmage off of his release for Garret, a 2026 graduate... One of the taller receiver prospects in attendance was [player_tooltip player_id='1691913' first='Musa' last='Kamara']. Out of Mercer County's Notre Dame, Kamara excelled at high pointing the ball, as well as returning back to it on said-type routes or under thrown balls. Moreover, I thought Kamara showed that he really understands his body and his strengths, as evidenced in how well he uses his catch radius and extends his arms to convert receptions.

Paramus Catholic's [player_tooltip player_id='1691916' first='Juan' last='Lozano'] had a subtle trait to his deep routes that I enjoyed. As Lozano ran vertically, he did an excellent job of throwing fakes during those routes to slow down defenders just enough. Whether this was a stutter, a head fake, a sink of the hips, or anything else his creative mind could come up with, Lozano was apt at creating more space for himself when needed... Delbarton might be the low-key factory for wide receivers; and it appears as though they have another one with [player_tooltip player_id='1691912' first='Jack' last='Castellano'] on their roster. Castellano is a 6'2" receiver with room to add good weight to his 170lb frame. Still just a 2027 graduate, he excelled at exclusively using his hands to make catches.

Closing out is the one out-of-state prospect for the day, Sekai Brown-Murray from Chester Stem Academy in Pennsylvania. Brown-Murray totally broke a defender down to rubble when running a post corner; however, he must covert! With such an outstanding route the ball was dropped.
