Fry is a versatile lengthy defender who has played at both the second and third levels of the defense. He's lengthy, has good range, and vision on the field. He'll fly up to the box with bad intentions. He's not afraid to try making the big hit and stopping all momentum. He's quick and agile enough to cover some receivers on the outside if needed. His 53 tackles and 1.5 sacks were a solid foundation to build upon in year 3.

Powe stepped in and had a fairly solid and productive year 1 on the varsity field. He's got fantastic range and isn't afraid to get his nose dirty. He's a fantastic open-field tackler and doesn't miss those opportunities. He's good in coverage and can run with just about anyone. He put up a fairly respectable 49 solo tackles and 61 total with 2 TFLs and a forced fumble all from the backend.

Hegwood gave the Roncalli defense a boost in areas where they needed it this year. He was a key turnover creator for them and got the offense the ball back a bunch of times. He's physical in the trenches and has no issue getting off blocks. His 81 total tackles, 4 interceptions, 1 forced fumble, and 1 recovered fumble all point to him tracking the ball well and punching it out when. It's in his face. Defenses need guys like Hegwood, and it was good to see that level of play in year 1.

Rumfelt got the nod at QB this past season and had his moments where he showed all that potential. He's a solid athlete but doesn't over-rely on it. He tends to want to stay in the pocket, go through his reads, and get the ball to the open man. He had a game early in the year where he struggled, but used that game to bounce back. His best game of the year, he went 20 of 26 for 302 yards and 4 TDs. He was lights out and later in the season was a much better QB than he was in week 1. The growth was tremendous.

Robertson started at Left Tackle all year and was fairly reliable from start to finish. He's strong and has no issue getting off the line. He can move guys in teh running game with ease. He's able to set his feet int eh passing game and rediriect guys when needed. He's not on his heels and gets aggressive. He strikes me as someone who has that "mean streak" to him because he's always sure to finish his blocks. He gave that line some stabiltiy on the outside this year and the offense as a whole benefited from Robertson's prescence.
