Upcoming Summer Rankings Update: New Prospects to Watch

<p>Our next rankings update for all classes is scheduled for June. This report will highlight some of the new prospects that will be included in those rankings along with film evaluations.</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1669846' first='Julien' last='Jones'] will be included in our 2026 rankings. He is a stout defensive tackle capable of anchoring against double teams. His good lower body strength, pad level, and hand placement allow him to anchor and hold his ground. Off the snap, he uses his hand placement to gain leverage, which enables him to read and shed blockers, making plays at the line of scrimmage or applying pressure on the quarterback. </p>   <p>Note - 3.2 GPA</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/BigBeastJUJU/status/1919710434963185936 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1669851' first='Samuel' last='Nelson'] will be added to our 2027 rankings. He has recently received his first Division One offer from Central Arkansas. Nelson is a sideline-to-sideline player, demonstrating his ability to chase down ball carriers. He shows proficiency in containing the edge and forcing plays into traffic with a good one-arm extension, while maintaining lateral movement along the line of scrimmage. Huckabee displays solid initial quickness into base blocks, along with good pad level and active feet to drive and displace. He is also capable of getting out into space on pulls. He is an athletic wide receiver who can exploit defenses vertically with his good foot speed. Helmick can be utilized in motions and sweeps, effectively drawing the defense's attention. He's a strong gap runner with solid footwork and the ability to navigate through traffic. Cross displays solid contact balance and leg drive to create extra yards after contact.
