Eight-player opponents must have thought Springville had 16 guys on the field last season with half of them being Hoy. The junior impacted the proceedings in all three phases. He threw four touchdowns, rushed for 1,277 yards (9.1YPC) and 18 scores, caught 12 passes, collected 46.5 tackles, picked off four passes, recovered two fumbles and returned two kicks for TDs. Hoy's junior highlight video contains the evidence for how he accomplished so much. A big part of the success stems from his speed and athleticism. They're on a higher level than many of his competitors. Hoy takes direct snaps, makes people miss and blasts off. Defensively, he diagnoses plays quickly and breaks well on the ball.

Stoaks enjoyed a successful season on both sides of the ball as a junior in 2024. He delivered enough plays that he put together highlight videos on offense and defense. Stoaks rushed for 98 yards and two touchdowns, he caught 25 passes for 371 yards and three scores, piled up 40.0 tackles (26 solo, 6.0 TFL), picked off four balls and averaged 17.1 yards on nine punt returns. His speed and athleticism make him successful in space. He also can stretch the field and his frame allows him to win contested throws. He's a versatile defender capable of running with receivers or stuffing the run.

Segoviano is a large individual. Don't take that to mean he's big and slow, however. Segoviano shows agility in the clips on his Hudl page. He begins in a technically sound stance, explodes off of the snap and moves his feet well. Segoviano plays with balance and active hands. He gets up into the pads of the defensive lineman and drives with his legs. Power is present when Segoviano is in the trenches. He's a guard at the next level and has the tools to play center.

The Wildcats reached the state quarterfinals last season with Knipper doing a lot of the heavy lifting. The junior ran for five scores, caught five touchdowns, delivered 67.0 tackles (8.5 TFL) and 2.5 sacks, recovered three fumbles and returned kicks. Knipper's 11th-grade highlight video reveals an aggressive defender that makes plays in space and can lower the boom. Offensively, the quickness, explosiveness and physicality that work on defense translate well. Knipper would fit nicely as a safety in a lot of systems.

The Dodgers reached the postseason last year with Hughes serving as a key member of the defense. The junior piled up 47.5 tackles (34 TFL, 5.5 TFL) and a sack. He recovered two fumbles and showed his athleticism by returning a kick 12 yards. We can see when watching his junior highlight video how Hughes gets the job done. He's solidly built, which helps him pack a punch upon arrival at the football. Hughes quickly diagnoses plays and flies to the ball. He runs well sideline to sideline and is best suited for an interior spot on the second level of the defense.

Michels dominated on both sides of the ball and special teams as a Saint junior in 2024. He rushed for 1,295 yards (11.1 YPC) and 16 touchdowns, and contributed a couple of receiving scores. Michels accumulated 76.0 tackles with 50 of them being solo and 14.0 of them for loss, and recovered two fumbles. He added a pair of punt-return scores and averaged 22.3 yards on seven kick returns. Michels' junior highlight tape impresses. The first-team all-state linebacker and first-team all-district running back is, first and foremost, a sound all-around football player. On offense and special teams, he utilizes quickness but also is strong for his size. He's a versatile defender, capable of locking down in coverage or supporting the run. His best fit at the next level likely would be in the secondary with the added bonus of special-teams' production.
