Understanding where his power comes from, [player_tooltip player_id='1618959' first='Mathias' last='Deleon'] showed excellent comprehension of this concept as he managed to do so in short oder. Adding to an impressive showing, the 2029 graduate managed to stay low throughout the process. Later on Deleon got beat on a bull rush, however, I am confident that once he learns to anchor that he will kill the momentum of such a move... Current 7th grader [player_tooltip player_id='1653731' first='I'Zameek' last='Harris'] did an excellent job of working and competing. At times he looked like he was fighting for his life, which is ok for a 2030 graduate. As Harris takes more reps and gains more experience, he will better understand leverage in the future and make his life much easier as a blocker.

Nabree Brown showed out with an excellent showing and several traits I took note of. Brown possesses strong hands. I noticed him grabbing cloth with his thumbs up, working to refit and fight for superior leverage on every rep. Although he did get bull rushed at one point, Brown killed its momentum by anchoring into the ground and winning that rep. Furthermore, Brown had what I wrote down as an "A++ base" in his stance. This, combined with his motor, made him an exciting prospect in the trenches. I would, however, be conscientious of him leaning just ever-so slightly... Confident in his ability to play on an island, I saw Vincent Nalen take a very wide kick step to stop a speed rusher. Noting this, I asked the coaches if I would see that match up once more. With little pushback, Nalen took his third rep in a row with the same opponent. This time, I advised the edge rusher to take an inside move, which he won. Nalen can certainly win against speed on the outside, however, he should remember to split his assignment's midline in oder to prevent a two-way go.

[player_tooltip player_id='1295971' first='Justin' last='Golden'] was awesome last Saturday. In fact, Golden was so damn good I advocated for co-overall MVPs of the camp based on his performance. Sure, a lineman's game is not as flashy; however, when you actually understand what you are watching it truly is an art form. What separated Golden from the field was his quick, elite feet. Golden moved well in all directions, especially laterally, and blocked each matchup's best move. The first time I saw him, he did get beat to the inside. I then pulled him aside and told him to trust his feet. From there, the rest was history.
