Northern California Under-Recruited 2026's (Offense)

Clark is a big time playmaker on the outside that is tough to bring down in the open field and has good wiggle and short area twitch with the ball in his hands. He is a physical route runner that can get off man coverage and creates separation at the second and third level while able to win on 50-50 balls. He has a big catch radius and natural hands and shows he can get into the blind spot of defenders before breaking off his route. He is a very patient route runner that understands timing, angles, and how to beat man or zone coverage. He currently holds one offer from Nevada and is a no-brainer FCS+ caliber talent that should be closing in on others soon.     Lempke is the top player in Humboldt County, and is one of the more electric and explosive dual-threat quarterbacks Northern California has that no one seems to know about. He has tremendous pocket presence and is tough to bring down in the open field due to contact balance, short area agility inside the pocket and has a strong build and frame. He has a big arm downfield and does a great job scrambling around the pocket buying time with his legs with true open field speed and the ability to throw on-scheduling accurate throws. On designed runs, he shows patients through the first level while able to bounce it outside when needed and is a strong runner that can make defenders miss in tight windows and in the open field. Lempke is a long strider that covers a ton of ground quickly and is truly a hidden gem in Northern California. The Arcata standout will hopefully draw more interest through his senior season and is a no-brainer next level guy.     Chapman is a very fluid athlete for his size and should draw plenty of FCS+ interest through the rest of the Spring and his Senior year. He can stretch the field vertically with a huge catch radius and natural hands while able to win on 50/50 balls and is a precise route runner with natural bend and foot quickness in the open field. He has the ideal frame for the position in college and can continue packing on weight with some growth potential as well. Chapman also displays he is a willing blocker in the box and is physical at a point of attack with a good strike and leg drive through contact. Heading into the 2025 season, he should one of the top offensive players returning in the Central Valley.     Jacobson is a bit under-sized for the position at times, but is technically sound and powerful at the point of attack both in the run game and in pass protection. He snaps off the ball quickly and gets immediate inside hand placement, a strong base and is able to finish blocks at the first level and stay within his frame. His film shows he can pull across the line and he takes the proper angles to the second level running his feet through contact on denting edge players and moving well through the second level. In pass protection, he is patient and it does not lunge while able to win against power rushers and reset if needed. He should drop plenty of D3+ interest through his Senior year and can play either guard or center in college.     Osborne is one of the better and more efficient signal callers across central California and has put up some big time numbers in his prep career. He has a strong arm downfield, quick release and can get the ball out quickly and on schedule with good touch and velocity over the top when taking deep shots. He does a great job buying time with his legs outside the pocket while keeping his eyes downfield and shows he does not lose throw power when on the run and throwing across his body. In the pocket, he is poised and has a strong pocket presence with plus athletic abilities when he does decide to tuck it and run. The Shafter product is looking to be a late steal for a college program and should have another stellar season this Fall and go on another deep playoff run.
