<p>The LSWA finished releasing its all-state basketball teams this week, including several names that should already look familiar to football fans.</p>

<p>There were a couple first- or second-team all-state hoops standouts in Louisiana's Class 4A lists who also boast notable backgrounds on the football field.</p>

<p><strong>Zion Weeks — 6-1, 150 WR — Wossman (2025)</strong></p>

<p>The smooth, springy receiver was the District 2-4A MVP on the basketball court and helped lead his Wildcats to the Division-II Non-Select state championship, including title-game MVP honors. He finished the season with averages of 23.3 points, five rebounds and four assists per game — punctuated by his 24-point, seven-rebound championship performance — and earned a first-team all-state selection.</p>

<p><strong>Monte Farmer — 6-8, 175 QB/ATH — Washington-Marion (2026)</strong></p>

<p>The Chargin' Indians' quarterback is one of the state's more distinctive athletes with as a strong-armed quarterback on the football field and big post presence on the basketball court. Farmer was named District 3-4A MVP and a second-team all-state selection after averaging 17 points, 13 rebounds, five blocks, four assists and two steals per game, including 65% field-goal shooting, 21 double-doubles and three triple-doubles.</p>
