Film Room Sessions | Unranked Nebrask Juniors Set to Rise

For my next film room session, I wanted to highlight some "unranked" prospects who I believe are set to have big years in 2025 and will likely make the jump to the rankings in the upcoming update.   Check out these five unranked prospects who are set to rise this summer:   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />    <a href="https://x.com/CalebOffner12" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">(@CalebOffner12)</a>   Massive addition to our radar! Winside's [player_tooltip player_id='1660979' first='Caleb' last='Offner'] is a player we found shortly after our last rankings update and is primed to make a nice debut when the new ones come out. The first thing that drew us to Caleb was his size and frame at 6'6" and a very clean 300 pounds that looks like he could continue packing on more mass at the next level. Then you watch Caleb's tape, you see a dancing bear in the trenches who is light on his feet and displays explosive lateral bursts. His mobility allows him to mirror pass rushers, climb up to the second level to clear out blockers, and execute pull blocks with ease. He is very aggressive at the point of attack and will keep working downfield, looking for more blocks to pick up. Clean footwork and consistent pad level when engaged in blocks. Caleb has already started garnering attention from college programs with offers from Southern Illinois (D1) and Wayne State. Only a matter of time before more big-time programs start throwing their hat in for the Wildcat's blocker.      <a href="https://x.com/Oliverc403486" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">(@Oliverc403486)</a>   It's surprising that a player who stands out so much physically is still flying under the radar like McCook's [player_tooltip player_id='1625806' first='Oliver' last='Corbett']. Oliver is a lengthy linebacker with a 6'7" and 205-pound frame packed with athleticism and explosiveness. Corbett finished his junior season with 65 tackles, four TFLs, two sacks, two fumble recoveries, and a forced fumble. The first thing that pops out on tape when watching Oliver is the intensity he brings to the field every play. He displays a tireless pursuit when rushing the QB, flashing a quick-fire first step and excellent closing speed to track down the ball carrier. Corbett does an excellent job setting the edge against the run, using his strong base to anchor down on blocks and active hands to break away from blocks. Great athlete with nice mobility, as shown with his ability to drop into coverage and flow around the field naturally. Secure tackler at the point of attack. Oliver recently earned his first offer from Hastings College, so it seems schools are starting to take notice... expect many more to come!      <a href="https://x.com/ayuel3x" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">(@ayuel3x)</a>   Junior [player_tooltip player_id='487616' first='Ayuel' last='Geu'] is a player who has been impressing during the 7v7 season so far and looks primed to break out as a senior for the Papio South Titans. Ayuel is listed as a WR/DB with projectable size for either position at 6'1" and 170 pounds with solid length to go with his rangy frame. There is limited game tape, but from what I've seen in clips from this spring, it's clear the college potential is there. He flashed his deep threat ability, using his great instincts for finding soft spots in coverage and straight-line speed to challenge defenses vertically. Geu also displayed some toughness in his game, such as his aggressiveness when going up for the ball and willingness to make plays over the middle of the field. With some opportunities opening up on the Titans' offense, I wouldn't be surprised to see Ayuel take on more targets in 2025.    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/ayuel3x/status/1900356187276689480 </div></figure>    <a href="https://x.com/ChristianC38640" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">(@ChristianC38640)</a>   [player_tooltip player_id='1114616' first='Christian' last='Dean'] is a prospect to buy stock in now before more teams catch on. Christian is listed as a WR/DB, but I am especially interested in his upside at wide receiver, where he showed great play-making skills with the ball in his hands. He was used very well on receiver screens where you can get blockers in front of him, allowing him to use his quick twitch and vision to spring free for big gains. Dean does a good job of firing off the ball and quickly builds up his speed when attacking vertically before breaking off sharply at the top of the route. Good hands through the catch process. Expect Christian to take off now that he's in an Omaha Burke offense that has put up big numbers in recent seasons.      Alma's [player_tooltip player_id='1115125' first='Zavier' last='Mitchell'] is an interesting prospect who is set to be a pivotal player for the Cardinals, regardless of position. Last season, Zavier led the Cardinals in passing with 468 yards and eight passing touchdowns while recording 337 rushing yards (team-high), 87 receiving yards, six rushing touchdowns, and two receiving touchdowns. Zavier, also a legit basketball prospect, projects well as a receiver at the next level, where he can use his lengthy 6'4" frame to create instant mismatches wherever he lines up. Mitchell's basketball background also allows him to elevate over defenders to high point the ball. Mitchell also shined on defense with 25 tackles and an interception.
