Across the Nation: Prospects to Add to the Recruiting Board

<p>The evaluation and recruiting cycle is 24/7, 365 days a year. At Prep Redzone, we focus on uncovering the hidden gems, the under-the-radar athletes who deserve recognition but often go unnoticed due to various factors. These prospects can compete at the next level, be it D1, D2, D3, NAIA, or JUCO, showcasing their considerable talents. Here are five prospects to add to your recruiting board:</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Florida:</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Anson Bivins, from Green Cove Springs, Florida (Clay High School), is a true freshman with varsity experience in 2024. He already has the size you want in the interior at the next level. Bivins displays solid initial quickness in his 45- and jump-pass sets, followed by solid hand placement and a strong initial punch to disrupt pass rushers' rhythm. He has a strong anchor due to his good lower body strength, solid core strength, placement, and balance. In run blocking, his best attribute is his ability to execute combo blocks, as he can effectively punch and work his way to the second level. He's currently flying under the radar, but once he is noticed, his recruitment will only increase from there.</p>   <p>Note - 3.9 GPA</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/AjBivins54250/status/1853189896464380085 </div></figure>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Texas:</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Caden Alderson, from Tomball, Texas (Tomball Christian High School), is a breakout candidate for the upcoming 2025 season. His mechanics and release remind me of former NFL quarterback Philip Rivers. He does have experience under center, which is rare in today's high school football. Alderson displays solid footwork in the pocket along with solid pocket mobility to work through and step out to evade post-snap pressure. While doing this, he keeps his eyes downfield and is able to progress under pressure. He showcases solid ball placement at the short to intermediate levels of the field and has the touch needed to layer the football over second-level defenders. </p>   <p>Note - 4.0 GPA</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/CadenAlderson/status/1841905413752815619 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1363982' first='Tristan' last='Hall'], from McKinney, Texas (McKinney Boyd High School), plays with a sideline-to-sideline motor. In 2024, he recorded 100 tackles, 56 of which were solo. He displays a quick first step, keying the backfield with a solid read-and-react ability to attack downhill against the run. Hall knows how to stay square at the point of attack, shedding quickly and making plays at the line of scrimmage. Post-snap, he displays solid vision, locating the running lane quickly and utilizing his burst to attack and get up to the second and third levels. He has the patience to allow his blockers to create and develop running lanes. Using his arm, he engages his hips to create torque, which helps him apply strength and more velocity to the football. He demonstrates solid pocket mobility and footwork, along with the elusiveness and awareness needed to evade post-snap pressure. Presley is capable of throwing accurately while on the run. He has experience as an offensive and defensive tackle. Offensively, he displays solid initial quickness into his base blocks, using his length and hand placement to create leverage and displace defenders. Defensively, he is stout and requires a double team.
