The following DLs have had limited playing time, and I want to see more of them. They do deserve some attention, and this article is here for it.

Ejuwa measures in at 6'1 275-pounds, playing nose tackle for the Regis Jesuit Raiders. This sophomore had 18 total tackles (10 solo, 8 assisted), 1 TFL, and 2 sacks on the season. Ejuwa has very good quickness out of his stance, engaging first with the center or guard. Very good strength and hand strength. He takes on double blocks and wins. Ejuwa has good get off speed, and is good block shedder. Eats up the run in the middle. In the passing game, he uses his good bull rush to push the pocket creating pressure on the QB. Regis has a rising young core, and Ejuwa is apart of it !

Measuring in at 6'0 185-pound, Tyng played defensive end for the Palmer Ridge bears. He had 11 total tackles (4 solo, 7 assisted), 1 TFL, 1 QB hurry, and 1 PD. Tyng has good quickness out of his stance. He has good acceleration and speed to bend around the edge. Good competitive toughness helping his teammates finish tackles. Good pursuit and plays through the whistle. Solid block shedder, with a good get off in the run game. As a pass rusher, he has a good spin move. In limited game action, Tyng made the most of it and I'm excited to see more playing time from Tyng!

Franzen measures in at 6'1 205 pounds, playing for Fruita Monument. Throughout the season, he had 32 total tackles (13 solo, 19 assisted), 3.5 TFL, 3 sacks, and 3 QB pressures. Franzen has good athletic ability due to good acceleration, speed, and change of direction. Good lateral quickness at the line of scrimmage. Franzen has a low pad level to get underneath the OL's pads. Good hand placement and hand strength to move them with ease. Good run stopper, and tackler. Stops the RB in their tracks. Good bull rush and spin move to keep the OL on their toes. I'm excited to see more playing time from Caleb going into his junior year.

Lambert was a key contributor to Florence's defense this past season. He had 44 total tackles (21 solo, 23 assisted), 5.5 TFL, 2 sacks, 1 QB pressure, 3 FF, and 1 FR. Lambert had a knack for knocking out the football. He'd punch the ball out of the running back hands, leading to the fumble. Good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, good speed, and change of direction. Lambert initiates contact first with the OL getting the upper hand. Good hand placement and good hand strength. Good get off, very good block shedder. Lambert was a consistent tackler, not letting the QB or RB get away from his grasp. Key an eye out for Lambert going into next season.

Measuring in at 6'0 230-pounds, Chwialkowski was living in the backfield this past season. He had 52 total tackles (30 solo, 22 assisted), and 8 TFL. He has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, good speed, and lateral agility. Very good initial quickness out of his stance. Uses his quick twitch to engage first with the OL. Good hand placement, and very good hand strength. AJ's spin move really stood out to me. Mixes between the spin and the powerful bull rush. Very good tackling, and wraps the RB. Good pursuit and doesn't stop till the play is finished. I'm very excited to see Chwialkowski in an extended role this next season.
