Changes Coming to Atlantic Coast Football

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With the 2025 high school football season approaching, the one thing that head coach <strong>Steph Durham</strong> and his coaches do not want to hear is what happened last season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Every coach and player at Jacksonville Atlantic Coast understand that dwelling on the past will never open the positives up for the future – and that future started this off-season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With some new faces and key returnees, the Stingrays have approached this time with plenty of enthusiasm and knowing that the players coming back along with the newcomers see how much this coaching staff wants to win and turn things around.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>If that turnaround is to start taking shape, the rising senior (2026) class will be a great place to start.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here are some of those players to keep an eye on:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Jordan Clark, ILB, 6'1, 210 - 3.8 GPA. </strong>Not only can this quality prospect read and make tackles, but he drops in coverage and defends passes as well. But when you dominate on each side then you are making major strides. He is quick off the ball and uses his long arms and leverage to gain control. This newcomer has already proven that he is going to be the glue for this defensive unit this coming season as well as already showcasing his many skills on the baseball field as a pitcher, infielder and outfielder.
