2028 Rankings Update- New Dominant OL Added to Our List

We have some unreal talent in our 2028 class!   Today, we are looking at some of our newest additions in our 2028 Rankings on the offensive line.   These guys are physical, talented players with huge futures ahead- be sure to watch their tape, you won't want to miss them!    [player_tooltip player_id='1621015' first='Joey' last='Fleming'] is a dominant OT out of Huntsville coming off a big freshman season last fall. At 6'6 260, Fleming is a big underclassman who already provides terrific pass protection and run blocking for his team upfront. Fleming is a hard man to beat in the trenches, he explodes off the line, plays with great leverage, and is incredibly powerful- consistently paving defenders into the dirt at the line of scrimmage and in the open field. I'm really impressed with Fleming's ability to protect the quarterback- he's a serious anchor on the offensive line who consistently uses his athleticism and physicality to keep pass rushers outside of the pocket, providing tons of time and security for his QB. Earlier this offseason, Fleming picked up his first offer from Jacksonville State- and with how well he played last year, it's certainly not going to be his last. Fleming is definitely going to be a guy to watch out for going into his sophomore year- he played really well last fall and has a ton of potential in his play, be sure to check out his film below!      [player_tooltip player_id='1634342' first='Isaiah' last='Eugene'] is an up-and-coming OL prospect I'm seriously excited to watch develop over these next few years, he already has terrific size, talent, and potential, and will be a huge factor in Pinson Valley's offense going forward. At 6'5 320, Eugene already has terrific size and a great frame that completely separates him from opposing DL in the trenches. It's really impressive watching Eugene move around at the size, he's highly athletic, quick on his feet, and plays with some seriously impressive leverage/flexibility. Eugene also has unbelievable strength- he's been putting in a ton of work this offseason, posting several videos of him lifting and pushing serious weight. Earlier this offseason, Eugene picked up his first offer from Arkansas- and with his potential, it's only going to be one of many. I can't wait to see what Eugene does this upcoming season, he has a bright future ahead of him and is one of our top 2028s for a reason- watch out for him!     [player_tooltip player_id='1621013' first='Micah' last='Walker'] is a big, physical OT out of Thompson who put together some impressive film from last fall- making key blocks in the trenches for his team's rushing and passing attacks. Walker really impresses me as a run blocker- at 6'5 280, he moves really well and can work from level to level to open up huge rushing lanes for his teammates. Walker is also extremely physical and plays through the whistle every snap- it's really impressive watching how much effort and toughness he puts in every play, he consistently wins at the line of scrimmage and pancakes defensive linemen/linebackers into the dirt. Walker also shows tons of skill in pass protection- he holds his own against pass rushers and does a great job countering their moves to provide a clean pocket. Walker picked up an offer from UAB earlier this offseason, and with his potential, it definitely won't be his last. Be sure to check out Walker's tape below and this upcoming season, he'll end up being a super reliable player up front for Thompson's offensive line the next few years.      [player_tooltip player_id='1621014' first='Tommy' last='Williams'] is another up-and-coming OL prospect out of Thompson who shows a ton of promise- he put together some really impressive tape last fall and has the potential to become a key piece of Thompson's offensive line for years to come. Williams is a big dude who can flat-out move in the open field- he has great mobility at his size and can make crucial blocks for his teammates downfield on screen passes and in the run game, opening up opportunities for huge explosive plays. Williams is also really productive in pass protection- he plays with great leverage, is extremely powerful, and doesn't allow for any kind of pressure on his side of the line of scrimmage. I'm really impressed with Williams and think he has a big future ahead of him, Thompson's OL is set up for a great future with him and [player_tooltip player_id='1621013' first='Micah' last='Walker'] up front. Teams have already started taking notice of Williams, he picked up an offer from UAB a few weeks ago, and with his potential, expect more to be sent his way soon. Be sure to watch out for Williams going forward, he has a ton of potential and is set for a big future on Thompson's offensive line.      [player_tooltip player_id='1254679' first='Tramel' last='Sparks'] is a dominant LT out of Opelika who is set up for a huge future- he is a mauler in the run game with great size, talent, and extremely impressive physicality in the trenches. If you're defending the run, you do not want to have to line up across from Sparks- he explodes off the line of scrimmage, is extremely physical, and completely paves defensive linemen into the dirt to provide wide rushing lanes for the ballcarrier. It's seriously impressive watching how Sparks can move around the field, he delivers huge blocks from level to level and in the open field, consistently helping his teammates maximize the yardage off of every play. Sparks is just as dominant in pass protection as well, he's quick, instinctual, and a hard man to beat off the edge- Sparks is terrific at holding his own, countering rush moves, and protecting the quarterback. I was seriously impressed with Sparks' film and think he has a huge future ahead of him for Opelika- check out his tape below and you'll see what I mean, there's already so much to like with his game.
