He not only tied for the top broad jump but also showed good speed, quickness, agility and power in his other testing categories. It was clear the two stood out as they won the top two overall combine MVP spots. The versatile Scott can do it all from running back to receiver to safety or outside linebacker. He had good numbers all day and confirmed what I have seen on the field last season with his speed and explosiveness. He was impressive then and improved upon all his numbers from then, including with his almost 10-foot broad jump. Akins has track speed and very good DB skills which he put to good use against some very talented receivers. He's a name you'll be hearing from in the future. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
