2024 Was Not Kind To Sebring Football

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>When the 2024 season came to an end, there was simply no joy around Sebring High's football program.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>What veteran head coach <strong>LaVaar Scott </strong>and his Blue Streaks went through was certainly not the standard that this program has been built on.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>While finishing second behind the two-time defending state champion Lakeland Dreadnaughts in District 6-5A was something that was pretty much expected, the 5-6 season was not what the players and coaches worked so hard to prepare for.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>While wins against Stuart Martin County, Clewiston, Lakeland Kathleen, Lakeland Lake Gibson and to a loaded Sarasota Booker team were nice, it was the losses – especially the three at the end of the year that has kept this team motivated this off-season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With the thought of last year fresh on their minds, this team has been working hard and remains optimistic about 2025.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>If they are going to turn things
