Receivers to rise in rankings this season

In this edition, we look at some outstanding receivers that will be heavy risers.    Morris is an exceptional athlete and a fluid mover. Morris can play out wide or in the slot. He is outstanding off the line, he simply has a fantastic release package he possesses to go along with great speed and lateral quickness. Morris has great hips and is an exceptional route runner. With his hip sink, he sells double moves and is outstanding at tricking corners. His suddenness and change of pace are superb and a marvel to watch. He has a great understanding of tempo and stacking his corner. He has little to no wasted movement and he is a physical player with creativity after the catch and quickly gets upfield and picks up chunk yards. Morris does a great job showcasing late hands. Morris is a chess piece and should be used as a weapon, get him on screens, reverses where he can create with the ball in his hands to his double moves where he goes vertical and beats defenders over the top. Defensively, Morris is just as talented on that side of the ball. He showcases great instincts and is a playmaker. Because of his closing speed, he excels at being a press corner and when playing off the ball can survey the field and anticipate and jump routes. He is a player who isn't afraid to make a hit and be physical. Simply put, Morris is one of the best athletes in the state and will be a Power-Four recruit. He transfers into Corner Canyon and should make an immediate impact.     Ita'aehau has good size and showcases good athleticism with excellent movement patterns and lateral agility. He has a great hip sink and is a twitchy athlete. Ita'aehau has a diverse route tree with good short routes where he can showcase his vision and create after the catch and also has great vertical routes where he pushes downfield, showcases great ball tracking skills, and strong concentration at the catch point. He is a player who creates separation and is also good at contested jump balls.     Gomez transfers into Mountain Ridge and is set up for a huge season. He is a twitchy athlete with nice lateral quickness and good suddenness in his movement pattern. Gomez has good hip fluidity and hip sink and is someone I love for double moves. He does well with in-and-out breaking routes, double moves, and getting vertical will be his calling card. Gomez is a player who will work the middle, he showcases good footwork and ball-tracking skills. He is strong at the catch point and creative after the catch,     Parker is a playmaker and athlete who will line up as Wide Receiver, Quarterback, and Safety. He showcases excellent movement patterns with good agility and lateral quickness. Parker shows good ball-tracking skills and solid body control. He has good footwork and projects as a receiver at the next level.     Warren is a player in line for an expanded role in 2025. He has good size, showcases good footwork, and has strong hands. Warren has strong concentration at the catch point and is a player who will be a safety blanket for his Quarterback. He sits in the soft spot in zone coverages and will show his numbers to his Quarterback, is a player with a lot of upside.
