EDEN PRAIRIE-- This morning like always, we powered through the snow to cover our first 7v7 scrimmage in 2025 at Eden Prairie which saw Potenza Sports and Minnesota Elite get after some live reps. We saw a plethora of talent across the Eden Prairie Dome and today and tomorrow we will tell you who cracked our standout list from this AM.

The recent Wartburg QB commit was one that I was impressed with how his upside has developed from the live eval I had a little under a year ago. Noah certainly showed off that he has grown more poise within the pocket and I thought watching the progressions I watched today seemed to show off more balanced and quicker than what I saw last 7v7 season. He also has amped up from a mechanics perspective in my eyes, as next year he heads to a one of the top 15 teams at the Division III level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1648464' first='Johnny' last='Evans'], WR, Potenza/Wayzata 2026 Twitter

Johnny was a new name that cracked my notebook on a snowy morning in Eden Prairie as a wide receiver that caught my attention. the 6'0 175 pounder showed off a wide receiver that I thought played bigger than what those measurables will show you. He showed off wider hands and a sound catch radius in my eyes. He also showed off an eye-catching release off the snap, which showed off the fluidity I would want if I was a college coach recruting WRs at the next-level.

Each time I have gotten to watch Iggy in the live eval, he is one that constantly has gotten better time after time which is super intriguing as a quarterback that has just wrapped up his freshmen year. Iggy was a QB prospect that I thought got better as the morning went on as he has always had the big armm talent that impressed me even in junior high, but I saw today a more mechanically sound base on all three levels with the throws he was able to make. The poise too has gotten more eye-appealing and surely the release has gotten quicker as a 2028 prospect that keeps rising.

[player_tooltip player_id='551393' first='Maurice' last='Brown'], WR, Minnesota Elite/St. Cloud Apollo 2025 Twitter

One of the few still uncommitted 2025s that caught our attention today at the Eden Prairie Dome, was another prospect out of St. Clound in wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='551393' first='Maurice' last='Brown']. The 5'10 170 pounder, showed off a sizably athletic catch radius for his measurables as I could tell that Maurice wins a lot of 1v1 reps with his great athleticism he shows off on every route and the agility surely pops out when he makes his cuts. All in all, in the reps I got to watch Maurce showed off the great hands for those schools out there still recruiting the 2025 class as he surely looks like a WR prospect that should be playing on Saturdays.

Talk about another excellent live eval that we got this morning from our Minnesota DB1, [player_tooltip player_id='592132' first='Brayden' last='Dozier'] of Maple Grove. I know there isn't a ton of lakes with islands in Maple Grove, but man, the way Brayden played this morning they should consider carving one out on one of the lakes and call it "Dozier Island" as Brayden easily was the best defensive back in attendance. He flashed the ball-tracking ability, showed off the excellent finesse in press-man, and it was very easy to gauge how stacked his football IQ was during the live eval this morning. The FCS schools have came knocking and it won't be long till the P4 schools do too.
